I'd love to hear about it. Can u email me at normanarauz@yahoo.com?
Well, how did you end up? I am still on the road, stopped weighing myself about 1 week out. I am afraid I will have to do a little corrective dieting when I get home. I have done my best to follow p3, but when eating out for every meal with a bunch of truck drivers, even the best choices on the menu aren't good enough. Since we were in the south, BBQ was often the restaurant of choice, I went with the meats with the least amount of sauce, but still know they had way to much sugar. And the pre-made, overly processed choices at many truck stops were hard to keep the starch out of my diet. By far the worst was the chinese buffet night. I did a steak day the next day just because I knew everything I ate had sugar, flour and msg in it!! Oh, well, I am starting my training for the 50 miles walk for MS and the 1/2 marathon when I get home, this will also put my eating habits back to healthy and organic so what I messed up over the road hopefully I can correct. My plan is get back to LIW and then to follow P3 when I get home until my weight has been stable for 2 weeks then move on to P4. Hope that works for the long term of maintaining my weight. I still have a little flab to loose on the backs of my thighs and just above my butt, so have been considering another 23 day round after my 1/2 marathon in Oct if I still feel the same. I may order some hgc just to have should that be the case.
Well, drop me a line and update me on your final P2 results and how P3 is going for you so far.
Pam
sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I am on the road with my husband in the semi. I did not get TOM when I was supposed to so stopped injections as originally planned. Second day without injection TOM arrived so stayed skipped injections for 2 more days (four days total) then 3 more injections (which got me 1/2 pound under my goal!!!!) and 72 hours of vlcd. Started p3 yesterday. I am very happy all my clothes from when I was running 5 miles a day for! We will be gone for about two weeks so will have to wait until I get home to get really serious about getting back in shape. I am training for a 50 mile MS walk in Sept. And then a 1/2 marathon in Oct.
Congrats on your loss. That is awesome. Let me know what you decide on the shots. For me I am glad I did the extra time. Dr S. Says you need to have at least 3 days of shots following TOM and since I was at goal I didn't want to take any chances of not resetting my hypothalamus and not being able to maintain! Well I am doing this from my I phone and we are moving again so it makes it really tough to type on this small keyboard. Send me a note and give me all your numbers.
Take care
Amy
Congratulations on your 20! That's awesome. I bet your feeling great, especially with others taking notice. As for me, today is my scheduled LI day, and still TOM has not arrived (should have been here beginning of last week). days and if still no TOM by the end of 72 hours I will continue to P3 as planned. If TOM arrives in next 72 hours I will add 3 more injections after it ends and then 72 hours before P3. I am sure hoping for the first,
since I have not lost anything all week, despite the horrible diarrhea, along with much stronger hunger and lower energy. I lost a total of 1 inch this week, was hoping that number would have been bigger to help me get through if I need to go longer. I am sooo ready to be done, but will tough it out if TOM decides it can't wait! Oh well, one day at a time.
Are you planning on ending at 40 or continuing on longer? Keep me posted on your great results, glad to see from your blog that your husband can see the changes. Mine was gone for 2.5 weeks, so he noticed right away that I lost 10 lbs. The best part this time is that since he dieted with me on R1, he is much more understanding and accommodating of my restrictions and need to not eat out. Take care!
I myself have lost 12#'s as well..it feels so good to eat healthier & yet lose weight..(sigh)
No I have not started the protocol. I dont even know why I joined the group if I dont have plans on starting it anytime soon =]
I read your blogs..how are you feeling on your protocol progress?
i should retake some pictures the one i have here is 40 lbs ago. I will get back to you when i do
