This Works! =)

Good morning all you beautiful, lovely people. I'm on r2, p4, d8 and I'm not gaining! WHAHOO!!!=) I've been within the 2 pounds of my LIW and I'm eating what I want, which is nothing crapy. I am not craving the junk food like I did the last time. I also figured out that I don't like bread. I use to love a hot piece of toast with melted butter and jelly on it. MMMmmmm. I ate it for about 3 days before it dawned on me that I wasn't even enjoying it. So I thought "Why am I even eating this?" so nee… Continue

I AM SCARED!! Any advice?

Good morning everyone. Well today is the first day of p4. I'm still within the 2lbs.of my LIW which is good. So why am I scared, let me tell you. What if this doesn't work and I gain, gain, gain, not just weight but inches. I love how I'm looking and feeling. I'm happy right now. But what if I start adding stuff back into my diet and I start gaining again. Do I do a steak day on p4? I'm afraid to eat and see. How long can I stay on p3? LOL! I have to admit that I cheated on Tuesday morning. We h… Continue

Good morning all you beautiful people out there. It's a cold morning here in PA, but we're alive and well. I'm still within the two pound mark from my LIW. =) I'll be done on Wed., we only do this for 21 days right? I'm kind of scared to quit p3 because I'm afraid I'll gain everything back. Yesterday I didn't eat as much as I usually do but here's what I did eat:

two eggs with a handful of cheese
two big handfulls of nuts
two big handfulls of raisens
two or three big apples
a big salad with som… Continue

r2, p3, d16, I AM MAINTAINING =)

Sorry it's been like a week or something since I've last blogged but I have been very busy. I've been maintaining my weight within the two pounds of my LIW, which was 106.4. At one point I was at 108.4 and thought for sure the next day I would be over and have to do a steak day, but I wasn't. I'm soooo proud of myself that I'm really sticking with this. Last time I got so lazy that I pretty much screwed it up for myself. This time though I'm sticking to it. =)=) I eat a lot of food. I do know th… Continue

I'm not too sure...you should read up about that. Canning is kinda iffy cause you are preserving. sugar is a presertive. Last year i canned peaches using apples i juiced off our tree and they seem fine, just not as sweet, but still contain natural sugar. Start googling canning without sugar, and get some ideas. I personally wont can fruit anymore because most of anything good for you is lost in heat processing. If you have a freezer,or accsess to one, i personally would either freeze them all sliced up with a little lemon,to keep them from browning,and/or dehydrating them. If you dehydrate them don't go above 105. this preserves all the goodness(but takes longer) If it is hot in your area,do what the indians did. Dry them sliced thin outside on a screen or hung cloth so air gets through. Or in oven on low. this is what i would do. i made freezer jam with stevia it wasent very good. then i made some with raw sugar. I mix the two and it is perfect.

Yes i'm really serious about the cookbook. i have about 50 recipies so far. I really need to get going on it. It will be a simple bound, spirial probally to keep the cost down for me and you. yhanks for your interest. i only own about 5 cookbooks. mainly for ideas.

Heather. they are all phase 3 friendly. If a person is creative and makes the time anything is possible. I have taken standard recipies and changed them,in some cases many times. these coconut maccroons are the best,so wholesome and satisfying but not too sweet(stevia sweetened). I'm not sharing recipies yet though i'm considering a cook book. not just phase 3 friendly but this would also benefit diabetics and people eating foods with a low glycemic index. I'm eating this food every day and am still loosing. Mainly because the food has a very high fiber content(expecially the coconut flour) and helps keep you regular. I just posted some brownies i made yesterday. Wow they turned out great. the original recipie called for ground oats which have alot of starch,so i found millit and amaranth dont. i fermented these for 8 hrs in kefir to increase digestability and up the nutrient of the brownie, also the protein content.
