Hey, Jamie, how are you doing? Our little dog died yesterday of congestive heart failure. The house is very empty. Did you ever lose a dog? This is our first.

Hi, Jamie--nice to hear from you. Yep, I'm still here, and Wendy is gone. LOL She is home with her family, taking her children to a lot of functions, such as sewing purses and quilts, and camp where she is a sewing teacher.

Good for you that you have mantained your weight! That is fabulous! I have too, but I think that we do something differently to maintain. I think that you eat what you want! LOL I do not. I restrict myself to counting Weight Watcher points. I do not eat their food, though. I eat organic and natural food 6 days a week. I do not eat sugar or flour. I do eat conventional food once a week and I might have flour or sugar on that day, for example, I may have a burger and fries at The Counter. They serve all natural beef and organic chicken, but, I'm eating 1/2 of a bun or an English Muffin, and freshly cut fries; hence the white flour once a week. But, yes, I'm maintaining. It's sort of like counting calories, but it works for me, and I can relax about the scale, my clothes, and my weight. It's a pain to have to weigh and measure and count everything I put in my mouth, but it's working. I have maintained my weight for a year now and will continue to do so.

What do you have in your garden? How is your dog? How is your new job? ...so many questions, Jamie. You haven't been on in a while. Linda is still here--the woman who posted before and after pics of herself, but pretty much everybody else is gone, vanished. LOL To me it's sad b/c hcg was such a big part of my life as was the communication about it. So, now, I take an oil painting class and practice yoga three times a week. So, I'm scheduled M-R every night. I leave around 3pm and don't get home until 11pm. Friday nights are for evenings with friends and Saturday nights are for husband, Sundays are for walks with our big dog and shopping at Nordstrom. They allow dogs in there! LOL So, I take her! What have you been up to, Jamie?

Hi, Jamie--how are you doing? It looks like you are doing well. The sun shone here today. LOL It's only been about a month since the sun has shined here. It was really nice. I just received all that she had to give. Nice.

Now I want to make the pizza! LOL I'm maintaining my weight on Weight Watchers, counting points which is really portion control. I'm eating only organic food using WW. But, man, Jamie, I'm so excited about maintaining my weight. I feel great, and I'm eating without gaining. I'm so glad. I really gave this protocol my all. And, I never cheated, Jamie, ever.

I used organic Hot Italian turkey sausage (I bought it in the meat dept where the butchers are at Whole Foods) and mozz cheese and raw provolone. The raw provolone I also bought at Whole Foods--it goes for about $30/pound, but OMG it is delicious! I think that I put red peppers on it too.

Oh, yeah, after you add the sauce to the pizza, then you have to add your toppings and put it back into the oven. Here is something else that I do to the crust before adding sauce and toppings: I drizzle olive oil all over the crust; then I use my fingers, lol, to spread the oil all over the pizza, including the edges. Then I add the sauce and toppings and bake.

Okay, Sweetie--here is the crust recipe. I got it from Better Homes and Gardens cookbook, but I change it:

2 3/4 to 3 1/4 C spelt flour, organic
1 package active dry yeast, chemical-free
1/4 tsp sea salt
1C warm water (120-130 degrees)
2 TBLS olive oil, chemical-free

Thin Pizza: Put cornmeal, organic, on a pizza stone. On a lightly floured surface, roll the dough into a circl. Tansfer to pan by rolling up dough on rolling pin; then unrolling on pizza stone. Build up edges (look at my pic), slightly. Do not let rise. Bake in a 425 degree oven about 12 minutes or till brown. Then add pizza sauce. I used homemade sauce for the pizza. I don't have a recipe for that as my grandmother taught me how to make it. I don't have measurements, but let me know if you want to know what I put in it, or maybe you have your own sauce recipe, or Jamie, you could use organic pizza sauce!

I didn't forget about you! I've just been really busy with Christms coming. :) And, we have had 18 inches of snow within the last three days! And, we are going to be hit again, not tomorrow but the next day, Christmas Eve. Hey, you, have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! I will send that to you! LOL probably after Christmas, if you are not in a rush for it.

Big :):):) just for you! I will give you the pizza recipe! Let me find it. I'll email it to you. I need a couple of days, okay? It was really good. Too good! LOL And, it was made with all organic and hormone-free ingredients, Jamie. I hope that you like it. If you were here, I would feed you! LOL Take care!

March 2009 1 year post hcg

Hello all, been a while since I've hit this page. It is a little over a year since I stopped HCG. I still eat 80% organic of whatever I want and still at 190 (30 pounds less from the start of HCG). It was so nice to have this year's resolution NOT be to lose 20+ pounds. Now it is springtime here in the mountains of east Tn and plenty of yard work and gardening will keep me fit as ever. Hope other have the same success with HCG. I would like to hear from you.

November 2008 Blog Blog Blog....

Hello All.... after a little smart alec comment from a dear, beautiful friend of mine stating all guys maintain their weight after HCG I thought I would enter a blog....lol

Ok, back in the summer I gained weight. I freaked out and the same dear friend above said "come on, do HCG with me again". I never lost weight and remained at my 195 and was totally bummed. Months later I was reading my blogs and realized that my Last injection weight was 195. I thought I gained because I lost almost 10 poun… Continue

Finally blogging again! and doing HCG

Hello all. Well after staying at 190 for months I was a little startled that I gained 5 pounds while eating 85% organic. I'm sure the stresses of my job was a major cause. The 5 pounds found me after seeing family for Monthers Day. The Thursday before Monthers Day is when I left my old job so I can blame that! lol... Since May 7th, I quit my job, was unemployed for 3 wks, and started a new job June 2nd. So after traveling for 3 wks training (again, eating 85% organic while I was gone) I came hom… Continue

phase 4 doing great

Hey all, sorry I haven't been online but life has been darn busy. I still eat whatever I want and still at 190. Some days I have a little gain but then it is gone the next day. I'll be able to focus more on myself soon and be able to work out hard, be active, and have a lot less stress in my life. WHEW!

8 wks on Phase 4

Hey guys. Almost been 8 weeks on phase 4 and the needle never budges more than 2 pounds from my 189. Some days I'm 187 and on 2 different occasions went up to 192. Without changing eating habits or panicking I always wake up to my 189. This is really really amazing! I eat about 80%+ organic and truly eat as much and whatever I want. I've never been happier with results like this. I have a whole new wardrobe due to me now being able to fit into clothes from 3 years ago that I've never thrown away… Continue
