Hi,

Thanks for replying back.

I am glad to see someone using the tea with positive results. Your information was very helpful. So, where do you purchase your tea?

Oh just some quick background information. I did my 1st round with a great loss of 27.5 lbs. 2nd round hasn't went as well. I''ve only lost 8lbs and have hit a plateau now for 2 weeks. Did an apple day and lost.08 lbs but then after that I have plateaued again. I was hoping the tea would help me with the plateau. I want to weigh 135 -140. I weigh 173 right now. My last injection will be Nov. 12th for round 2.

Back to the tea- I do get light headed on some days. So, your saying the tea helps with this correct?

Thanks again for your reply.

Thank you so much for your so informative answer...I am very gratefull you put such an effort expleining me those things.....
Croatia is considered to be undeveloped county from most of people, but is far away from truth...we have economic problems but are not spared from bad things that modern time has brought...The biggest problem is that we are in some kind of unaware state...while in America you have a store where you can buy organic meat, in Croatia such thing doesnt exist!
That is because just 8 years ago everything was natural and organic!!!!No one fed beef with hormones,or gave them antibiotics....but as the competition grew and we headed capitalisation everything has changed.
I am guessing we are right now in some transition period when theese negative aspects are to be seen more and more each day,but still didnt hit awarenes of the state where we would actually do something about it....
So what is left for me in order to find anything organic...I have to drive trough the country in search of meat that actually eats the grass and not concentrats....and to find that out I have to see by my own eyes or eighter have no garanties!!!!
I hope I didnt bord you with explaining all that but I thought to justifie myself for at first sight stupid question!
Thank you very much for answering me!!!!!God luck!!!!
Thank you!

Glad I can be of help! :-) I've been here a LONG time, but do most of my posting on the other site. For me, it is much more user friendly. I can't figure things out here, except for the basics. Oh well! As long as everyone gets their questions answered and feel like they are succeeding in this never ending quest!

As far as I know Wu long and Oo Long teas are the same. That is what GHI medical told me when I started the diet. They said just to buy Oolong tea because it is cheaper and Wu long is so expansive. I bought a large box of it from whole foods for about 6 $ and on the box is says it's Wulong tea. I do drink all the teas except the Chamomile which gives me a headache.

R2P2D33, Down 2.0, R2-26.0, TAP -52.5!!

While this round of phase two has been a little more challenging as far as the weight coming off, I am thrilled with the results so far. I have nine more injections this round to make it to my 42, and have a goal of losing 5 more lbs. That will put me into the 250's with a little wiggle room. I will be on phase 3 for 8-12 weeks this time, as I intend to wait until after my son's visit in February to resume the injections.

This loss today brought me past my lowest weight from the last time I los… Continue

Checking in R2P2D19

Thought I would drop in and say hi. I am blogging on a regular blog instead of here this round.

I am on day 19 on round two of the injections and have lost 18.8 lbs so far for a net loss since I started on the protocol of 45.3 lbs. Woo hoo! I have had the identical issues this round as I did last round--primarily cramping in my feet and legs the first week and a half or so. I still get them, but not as badly as during the first two weeks. Otherwise,… Continue

Last day of Phase 3 Round 1

Well, I survived phase 3 round 1! I had three steak days, and am finishing out the sixth week with a weight that is 1.6 over my last injection weight! Woo hoo! I start injections and gorging tomorrow (although I have sort of already been gorging the last couple of days!) I posted photos on my regular blog Wednesday if you want to see them. I… Continue

Week 4, Round 1, Phase 3--All's well!

I thought I'd drop in with a quick report. We just finished our fourth week on phase 3 and both Ornery and I are doing well. He is 0.4 above his LIW, and I am 0.5 below my LIW. We have had two steak days in four weeks, and they worked to bring us back to LIW both times. We have had good success adding back in sugar and starches, and have not had any problems except when we traveled and were having to eat out more.

Our room-mate just finished round one of phase 2 today, and her results were outs… Continue

Checking In

So we have finished our first week of Phase 3, and I think if we hadn't been traveling on the first two days, we would not have had to do a steak day, but I have done one--only I didn't use steak but roast which worked just fine. I have fluxuated widely on my weight from one day to the next, but Ornery is staying right within a pound of his LIW.

Today I am rereading KT's book -- or at least the parts on phase 3. We have really been enjoying eating more variety, and I didn't realize how much I h… Continue
