About Me:

French-Canadian Indian whose tribe immigrated from British Columbia to Annette Island, Alaska, I was born in Washington state, raised in Anchorage, Alaska and now living in my home state again. I'm a 50 year old mother of two grown children and two small grandchildren. Formerly a national certified medical assistant, I'm now considering another career, possibly in the medical field but the administrative end this time.

Aside from my family--my favorite things in life are God and my faith, music, animals, my dog, beachcombing, traveling--namely flying, dancing, writing, drawing, old and/or Irish movies or movies about Ireland, star-gazing and daydreaming.

I'm normally a patient person but have a tendency to lose that virtue over bullies of either people or animals. I'm a firm believer in you WILL reap what you sow.

I don't believe in evolution, reincarnation, soulmates or onions--not even onion POWDER.

I believe in common sense, honesty and integrity, fairness, compassion, communication, and copious amounts of salsa and chips with a side or two of margaritas.

I'm an avid music lover and like almost every genre except for...3, I believe. I have songs for everyone in my life and even a song or two for some drivers I've encountered on the freeways. Music is my life.

I also enjoy my solitude and being alone with my thoughts--most of the time. If I don't like what's going on in my head, we talk to myself out loud to drown out the voices and it's all's well with the world again.

I'm not perfect and I don't want to be. Too much work to maintain perfectionism. I have better things to do--like have fun and be real, so, take me as I am or finish this sentence.

I have recently come to terms with the fact that I am domesticatus illiterus...domestically challenged....I hate housework! Life's too short to worry about that every single day. I'd rather be swimming with dolphins...running wild across the globe...investigating under rocks of white sandy beaches...or, one day, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane with a parachute on my back--maybe once will be enough but I suspect not. I've always wanted to fly and you can't get much closer than sky-diving.

Mostly reference books, biographies, autobiographies and books on writing. Just starting to get into fiction.
