About Me:
I experienced recovery from morbid obesity through a raw food lifestyle. I have been eating raw for over 5 years now and have lost around 160lbs (approx. 12 stone) in that time. My life has been completely transformed on every level and I now devote my life to spreading this message of hope for natural and healthy weight loss for others living with overweight, obesity and overeating issues. I travel all over the world speaking on raw foods. I am originally from England, but have spent most of the last decade elsewhere - Scotland, New Zealand, Sri Lanka, Iceland, Italy, Norway, Thailand... I just wondered if you have any experience treating problems of candida? I am on a candida cleanse diet, including 50% cooked vegetables, a few "alternative" grains, and yes, even meat. I am definitely experiencing some good results, but I feel uncomfortable eating meat (I was vegan for years, hence, the, um, picture) and have heard that a raw diet is also a way to get rid of candida. I'm also interested in oriental medicine (I'm applying to an acupuncture program for the fall), and I've read that TCM's stance on raw foods is one of disagreement: we don't have enough stomach fire to digest raw foods. If you have any experience/knowledge on raw foods and candida, that would be great. BTW, you are doing such a good thing by helping yourself and sharing your knowledge with others.

Wow! It's truely amazing how you've transformed your life. I am just starting a raw lifestyle and finding it difficult. I just checked out your website & some of the recipes made me very hungry! lol I can't wait to try some of them. I was just wondering if you eat organic or conventional?
Since you've been all over the world- I was wondering if you've heard stories of raw food stopping cancer & tumors? My son's Naturopath doctor told me that raw food can reverse cancer. My two year old son has a brain tumor & she says he needs to eat only raw foods. I must say he is doing better with it then the rest of the family!

Welcome to Natural Cures! Im not 100% raw but working on it slowly. Right now im doing about 30% to 50% most days. Im loving the raw green smoothies and want to learn more.
