We can Help

The kids are now under the impression that this is the best way to eat. They assume we always do what is right! The only way to get them to change their habits and food prefrences is to expose them to it over and over and over. Once they have tried it SEVERAL times, their little tastebuds WILL grow accustumed to it. You just have to get them to try a little piece of something once a day...the same thing (this might take as many as 20 times) until they will actually eat it. You have to be persistant and you have to eat it yourself. They want to be like you and will want to mimick mom and dad. It will be a hard process because you are basically retraining their little brains all over again. Just don't give up and if they spit it out...no big deal...try again tomorrow. Don't get mad or yell because then they will associate that food with something negative and will never want it.

I hope this helps and if you have any more specific questions, just let me know.

Be Well,

Bambi
