Tammy,
As we all know what I had (have) and what you have can be entirely different even though the symptoms are the same but I need to share my story with you so you can get the same checked out if you want. I had chest pain for quite a long time and finally complained to my dr. who said I had GERD and for some strange reason told me to take Ibuprofen (800mg) for the pain! I worked in a hospital pharmacy at the time and the pharmacists were amazed and worried about me taking the high doses of Ibuprofen. I took it for quite a while anyway because it was the only thing that helped the pain. It hurt really bad when I bent over frontwards, like bending over the bathtub to bathe my dog. My everyday activities were really hampered. Then one day I was scheduled to have a hysterectomy and was told the surgery was cancelled when I went to check into the hospital because the anethesia doctor would not put me to sleep with the way my chest x-ray looked (!?). I was told it was either lymphoma or sarcoidosis and they figured it wasn't sarcoidosis because that usually occurs in the Jewish or Black races. So my husband and I were sent home to worry ourselves sick for 2 weeks over the Christmas holidays. Jan. 2 I had a biopsy done of the mediastinum and found out it was sarcoidosis. Praise God! I required no treatment for several years, then had to do prednisone I am off of it now and going to try StemEnhance for it. What I really wanted to let you know is to ask your doctor to do a chest x-ray to rule out sarcoidosis. I'm sorry for such a long post. Good luck Tammy.
