My granddaughter will be 4 in 3 weeks and my husband and I are raising her at this time. I work full time as a bookkeeper and secretary as well as making a point of getting to the gym 5 - 6 days a week to work out. I have a fear of being fat and am a perfectionist to a fault. I am in search networking with others who have been on the hcg diet; if that is you ... e-mail me. :)

Hey, just stop by to say hello. Buy the way, check out my discussions and video area on my page, I have over 700 videos in there which is more then half the videos uploaded combined by over 21,000 members. Lots of good stuff in there.
Hi Terrie,
Thanks for all the info on digestion. What are you eating your avacado stuff on .. crackers? I will try some of your suggestions but I do what you to know that I have tried just about everything and nothing has worked because as soon as I stop for one day taking whatever it is that finally gives me relief the constipation is right back. I have a sensitivity to tomatoes so my doc suggested I not eat them even though I really love them. I would love for you to give me an example of what you eat each day. I also fight candida yeast so if I eat lots of fruit it feeds the yeast. I am really at a loss most times as are my doctors. Carrots are high in starch and sugars so only eat a very few. I do eat meat but mostly just chicken and fish ... every now and then I eat beef.
When you buy your hcg do you have to mix it? Do they include the syringes or do you purchase them separately?
Must go for now I have a surprise birthday party to attend for a friend. It was great to hear from you... Terri
Oh, and I wanted to add something else. I have all but given up meat. I like it, but I have a personal reason for omitting it from my diet, and that is the cruel and inhumane way the animals are treated for slaughter. Also, meat is so hard to digest. Meat bloats me and I don't eleminate as often as when I eat fruits and vegetables only. Just thought I'd mention this.
Hi Terri,
It's sooo nice to hear from you again; hope your granddaughter has a fun party; I know that she will. Birthday parties are special; they will never again be that age. We did not get to have a party for Gabe this time; he turned two; we were in the middle of moving his mama back to Kentucky because her husband deployed to Iraq.
I tell you, last Christmas was a sin. Gabe had so much stuff, it was ridiculous. It is so fun buying him things, but, honestly, it isn't necessary. I felt ashamed of all the stuff we all bought for him knowing about other children who might not have received anything at all. We will probably get a few nice gifts for him this Christmas, but not go overboard about it.
Do you eat a lot of fruit and vegetables? Do you stay hydrated? Water is so important, too. Avacodoes are good to eat; I eat a lot of them. I mash them up, mix diced tomatoes with them, dice some onions with it, mix spinach with it sometimes, and lots of times I will also mix it with green beans or peas. It sounds like a crazy concoction, but it moves through the intestines pretty fast. NO constipation there! Try it; it's more or less, well, I don't know what it is, but I like it, it is satisfying, and isn't fattening at all. Keeps the bowels working!! And, if you really want to keep the bowels working, eat lentils along with the other concoction I spoke about above; eat lentils whether you like them or not. As you know, they are a type of pea, a legume, dark colored, not green. Or, buy a bag of green split peas; they will work in the same way. The lentils and the green peas have a lot of fiber. When I buy them, they are not organic. I can't always get organic. I promise ya, no constipation worries there if you eat all of the above! Talk about an edible homemade colonic, LOL!
A lot of people order from Anabolic pharma for their HCG. The order is normally received within 7 to 9 days. 5000 IU's of HCG is $34.00, then, there is also a shipping fee of about $18.00.
Another pharmacy, Terepharmacy.com, sells HCG for $17 for 5000 IU's of HCG, which is half the cost. They sound like a very legitimate site, but are closed for September. Their shipping is only six dollars!! They are the cheapest that I have found anywhere for HCG and for shipping. I found them doing a search in my "favorites" the other day but have never ordered from them. The savings are superior when compared to other suppliers.
Well, guess I better go for now, we've peed, pooped twice, fed the fish, played with dinosaurs, ate flowers off the shower curtain, and ate fish for lunch. But Gabe is just a little over two years so this is expected. He keeps opening the outside door and calling for Buck; a big and gentle beautiful black horse that he rides while we lead him around. So, I will close for now; let me know what you decide to do about your order. Take care and write soon!!
.
Me again; I know this sounds crazy, but what is that black thing in your lap? LOL, I have stared at it and stared at it, but can't figure out what it is! I know it must be obvious as to what it is, but I just can't make it out!! Is it a dog; a Boston Terrier? I'm sure I'm the only one who can't make out what it is!! I need some new eyes!
Your granddaughter is such a cutie!! How old is she? There is nothing as precious as a grandchild, is there! Cause you can eventually send 'em home, (just kidding) Well, let me know what the mystery lap baby is!!
Hi Terri,
It was so good to hear from you again; I know how busy life can become with family matters. I just had my grandson for the last two weeks; and I am pooped. He left yesterday; he cried and really didn't want to leave, then got happy. It was sad for me, but this old gal needed a break.
Yesterday was weird for me, I walked outside, and stepped off the step, and noticed something black laying there; that black thing was a bat!!!! Of all things! After I got over the shock of almost stepping on that bat, which was dead, I walked toward the back of the house, following the steps, and I stepped on a snake!! Of course I freaked out, and grabbed Gabe, but can you imagine all that, all in a matter of minutes! It was about two and a half feet long; Jerry said the snake wasn't poisonous, he didn't think, but I still wanted it dead, cause I figure where there is one snake, the spouse and all their babies aren't far behind. He got away, so I am sure we will meet again, someday, somewhere. Don't ask me where the freaking bat came from, LOL.
I am still working in the barn; it's not so bad, though, I have a couple of old mares in the lot that keep me company, along with the cats and dogs. I pulled the camper up to the barn so I could at least have some air conditioning when I needed to cool off, but so far haven't used it. It's been in the high 90's, so don't ask me why I got out my old camping coffee pot to make coffee for myself while at the barn.
Anyway, I did, and when I went to pour myself a cup, it shocked me when I touched the metal on it; too bad, it will have to go, now that it is a live wire. I have lots of sentimental value for it, been to a lot of campsites and brewed many a cup of coffee for many long winded, tale telling, happy campers! I hate to toss it, but there is no hope for it!
There are a few others that want to lose an additional fifteen pounds or so, and I have invited them to start the protocol with us when we do this again, in September or the first of Ocober; to make this a team effort, to do this together, where we can all support each other while we are losing weight.
Well, guess I will close for now, let me know what you think about the team effort with the others, and get back to me about it. Talk to you later!
Terri, give me your email address so i can send you a FANTASTIC exercise book! All the exercise you need to do can be done in 10-15 min a day and you will get better results than with hours of work. This is like the hcg diet, it WORKS!!!!
Hi Terri,
How are you my friend? It was so good to hear from you. I have been terribly busy, (trying to get a barn cleaned out for hay storage) and still babysitting my two year old grandson. Yep, I'm tired!! Love him to pieces, though.
I couldn't believe you were going camping! Wish I could have been there! What all did you do, and where did you go? That is the recreational love of my life!! I could absolutely camp 24 hours a day. I absolutely love camping with my horse and dog/s! I love to trail ride and camp. I use to go for weeks at a time. There is nothing like being around a group of friends and a campfire telling stories and jokes. I can't get enough of it. My husband, on the other hand, doesn't like it as well as I do....... A lot of women don't like camping either because they might sweat or get dirty! Doesn't bother me a bit, that's why God gave us soap and water, LOL!
Well, Gabe has to use the potty; he is doing no. 1 and no. 2 on the toilet! What a relief for me. I think he is doing so good at it; he is 27 months old.
I would like to keep in touch more often, but with the grandbaby right now, I just can't. He should be going home in a few more days, so I should have more after he leaves. Better let you go, will write again once the baby goes home to mama.
I have been working outside and perspiring a lot, helps me to detox and not gain weight after the HCG. I am still doing good, if you go a second round on it, let me know. I still want to get rid of the 12 to 15 pounds I have to go. This wouldn't have happend if I had been faithful to phase 3.
But if I do another round, it will be the 21 day protocol. Well, now I have a crying grandbaby on my hands, I have had to leave this message four different times to take care of his needs, so guess I better close for now. Will check in with you when the baby is gone.
Take care Terri, and I will talk to you soon. Wish I had more time, would love to talk. You seem to have a really good life, and lots of blessings.
Hi Terry! I order from 2 places. The hcg I get from drugdelivery and the supplies from researchsupply. Before placing your supply order, check at your local Walmart to see if you can get the insulin syringes w/o prescription. If you can, it is less expensive to get them there. Otherwise, just include them in your supply order. It is also less expensive to order in mixing syringes and needles in packs of 10. However, Researchsupply might offer a kit now. Haven't checked into that lately. The last time I priced everything (2-3 months ago) for the list I've got in my profile, the cost was around $120 for 1 round of hcg and supplies.
Hi Nell,
I was sorry to hear that you are unable to begin the hcg protocol but encouraged by your positive attitude! I agree that even though you are unable to purchase the hcg at this time if you begin to eat better, cut out sugar, dairy, and starches you will see a difference whether you take the injections or not. My understanding is that the injections curb your appetite while you are on the 500 calorie diet but I also know that for me I can eat whether I am hungry or not. I have battled my mind regarding food and self image for most of my life ... never feeling as pretty as, as talented as, as worthy as and the list goes on so this summer I made a conscious choice to begin really fighting the monster in my mind and to not allow the reactions of others dictate how I feel about me. It seems everyone loves you if you have lost weight because they want to know how but then there are many of those people who go back to treating you terrible once they get the info they want; I experience this in my workplace with a couple co-workers. The Lord placed me here on this earth for a reason and it is about time I give Him some credit for what He has created in me. Yes, for me it affects my self image when I am overweight so I may always fight that battle which is the same as a drug addict or alcoholic but I also know with perserverance there is freedom and that is what I am after. It is great that you are setting this example for your girls; it is so much better to have it instilled in them when they are young then to fight it in their 30's and 40's. I am 49 years old (in September) and I really want to be healthy and happy for my two grandchildren that I currently have and the ones in the future. I'm not quite sure why I share all of this but hope in some way it encourages you to press on even without the hcg. I have gone through the protocol (actually went off the wagon really bad twice during it ... stopped one time and then restarted the 45 days so that I could feel successful) and am now going into my 3rd week without injections. So far so good, but I am sticking to what I know works and learning to listen to my body after I eat something to determine if it is not sitting well or if it is a food that makes me feel good. I am thinking broccoli (even tho I love it in stirfry) makes me bloat and not feel so good. I am going to leave it alone for two or three days to see how I feel and if the bloating feel goes away and then reintroduce it to see if it comes back. I am not eating starches, sugar or dairy at this point (because I am suppose to stay off them for another week) but will most likely only have them once or twice a week when I can ... it would be like a treat. I am also working out at the gym 4-6 days per week for 1.25 to 1.75 hours a day; I try to get 1 hour of cardio in and 30 minutes of weights. As I am sure you know this will add muscle which aids in burning fat faster. I am staying within 3 pounds of my ending weight ... would like to lose an additonal 8-10 pounds but am not stressing over it. I am content where I am at for this moment in time but know I still need to tone up which takes time.
You are a beautiful lady ... and like I said have a great attitude; keep up the good work, work within what you have right now knowing you will see success in that! Have you contacted any of the Nature Path doctors in your area to see if they are familiar with hcg? I had not heard of it until the new doctor I was seeing for digestive issues and inability to lose weight brough it up; he did take me through many things before agreeing to the hcg. I did cleanses, colonics, infrared sauna's and numerous suppliments to try and aid in my body releasing food that I was eating ... once we started seeing success (which took a couple/three months) he allowed me to go on the injections. I am still looking for a website to order the Noravel so that my daughter can go on it ... and a site that has it reasonable. I did not do bloodtests along the way like some sites that want you to do it and my bloodwork (just had it done a week ago) is great.
Okay, I have rambled long enough ... I best let you go and get to sleep as I have a birthday party for my husband to get ready for tomorrow (he turned 50 on the 14th) :)
Blessings to you and your family,
Terri
