- Condiments of all kinds are acceptable, but they can contain no carbs or sugar. I occasionally use a little ketchup and have even used sweet pickle relish. You just have to be so careful and watch how each extra item effects YOUR ability to lose. Every little bit that you add to the protocol adds calories and lessens the losses.
