1-800-373-9343 is the number for Theracyl. Forget going to a Pharmach for stuff that we need; go to a helthfood store instead. There, you can get some real help with what you need.
Yes, it is a down right shame that trying to be healthy has to be so doggone expensive. IT ISN'T RIGHT!!
Yeah, it figures that those two pharmacists were so dumb. And no, you can still have parasites and not know it.
Yes, try to get on the Armour thyroiod; any doctor will be aware of it; just make sure you tell them you want to switch to it. If they tell you there is no difference in it, tell them that if there's no difference, then why can't you get on it? It's rough dealing with the god doctors; very difficult when you are dealilng with the supposedly highly educated but in reality; you know they are dumb as dirt when it comes to long term alternative health care. You might look on amazon for a used 'Ageless" book; you could possibly get it for a couple of dollars. Don't know; but then there is shipping to be paid on it.

Hi Candy,
My husband use to think I was radical, but doesn't really think that way anymore, even though he won't change his lifestyle.
He will defend the organic lifestyle, though; so it beats me why he won't change a thing.
If I were you, I would stay off the synthetic hormones; looks like you've been on them for quite a while. I believe them to cause a lot more damage as compared to any help they may be to the human body.
Did you check out the Theracyl website? Dr. Dale is a naturopathic doctor, and actually cured herself of a tumor at the age of 22 when she implemented natural therapies for herself. From then on, she dedicated her life to alternative choices in healing the human body.
I would tell you to buy the book "Ageless" by Suzanne Summers, (Three's Company) and read her interviews with 16 other doctors about the subject of hormones, HRT, menopause, hysterectomies, perimenopause in men, etc. I highly recommend it. Although I believe Theracyl is better than the bioidentical hormones, the book explains how synthetic HRT causes cancer and depression in women. The book is seventeen dollars, and I highly recommend it. It explains everything from A to Z. I got mine at a local department store. There is a part of the book devoted to men and their hormone levels, very interesting reading. Did you call the number I gave you to get your free booklet from Dr. Dale about HRT?
The cost of Theracyl is about two hundred dollars, but I don't know how long it lasts; one month, six months, a year? If you call, ask about the average amount of time that it lasts, since it comes in cream form.
If I were you, I would have my blood checked for thyroid levels and for hormone levels. Then, you can talk to your doctor about where your hormone levels need to be. As always, I cannot emphasize the importance of Armour thyroid if you need it.
To make an informed decision on HRT, read the book Ageless. And if you are found deficient in thyroid, use only the armour brand, as it is not synthetic. But this will be the only way you will be able to come to terms with what is right for you to do. Since you are so new to chemical free healthy alternative lifestyles, don't panic. ALL OF US started where you are coming from. And none of us will ever know all there is to know about any of it. You'll get there, don't worry.

Hi Candy,
Okay; I'll try to explain about the pesticide link to estrogen. In a perfect setting, we have the right amount of estrogen in our bodies, and it is perfectly balanced.
The chemicals in pesticides act just like estrogen does in our bodies. It mimicks it so closely that our bodies cannot distinguish the difference between the two. This would mean that we now have a fake estrogen in our body competing with our own estrogen; the "fake" estrogen being the chemicals in the pesticides sprayed on our food supply. So now we are flooding our bodies with fake and real estrogen at the same time. This totally confuses our bodies, and is very harmful; the probability of it leading to cancer is accelerated.

My message box where you wrote to me must be broken; I can barely read the messages that are left in my personal Community Cures box, so I just posted to you on your home page; hope that was okay to do. I was afraid my message if I left it might be as hard to read as yours was to me.
If you would like a free booklet on hormones, the makers of the natural product Theracyl, is offering one. Their number is 1-800-373-9343; just make it clear to them FROM THE VERY BEGINNING that you only want to receive a copy of their free book about hormones and that you are not ordering Theracyl at this time. At least this is what they were offering about two weeks ago.

Candy,
I have chickens, too! Five of them; I only have them for their eggs. They are pets, and there is no way I could eat them, or any of their babies. If I know something, I can't eat it, so I am really careful about not allowing them to hatch out any eggs. Four hens and a rooster are plenty for us to have for the eggs.
I sure hope you can quit smoking; there are so many pesticides and chemicals in tobacco. Don't forget the arsenic that is in it too! I know, I use to raise tobacco for years!!
Did you know that in a woman, pesticides mimic estrogen? That's right! That's really scarey, too!!
Also, I use to be on the OTHER side!!!!!!!!!!! Can you imagine that!!
Anyway, what helped me most was myself! I kept looking around and continually saw more and more people get sicker and sicker with more and more drugs on the market. I had been saying for years it didn't make sens!
I began to go to a healthfood store, Amazing Grace, then began to buy natural healing books. After that, I was convinced, and now have quite a library of health related books, and just love talking about the subject. I talk to everybody that I can; those that won't listen, I move on. There are lots of people that will; especially in light of the fact they themselves know that they are sick, stay sick, and only get sicker and sicker.
My advice to you would be to go to an organic healthfood store, look at their books, and purchase a few to help you get started. Sit down and look at them from cover to cover; buy the ones that are self explanatory, list the causes of disease, and then how to cure it naturally. I highly recommend Prescription for Herbal Healing, by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC, and Prescription for Dietary Wellness, by Phyllis A. Balch, CNC, and Herbal Remedies for Dummies, by Christopher Hobbs, L.Ac.
All three books are awesome, with lots of answers, and that is what I like about them. And it is one of the best ways to learn and inform yourself.
We buy meats and milk from the Mennonites and the Amish.

A person can only give up so much. I try to eat healthy, but do not call myself bing on a diet. I just gave up all of my medications a week ago, synthroid, estrdiol, and zoloft. Plus I am trying to quit smoking AGAIN. I am about to lose it anyway, so I am not about to give up any food that I really enjoy, which means dairy. I would like to find a farmer that milks cows close by and purchase fresh milk and have real eggs. I am seriously thinking about getting some chickens again.

I know what you mean. I could or should read all the info on milk/dairy but I just dont want to. I have given up fast food, restaurant food (and we ate out 5 days a week)to eat only organics cooked at home I check all labels gave up sugar. No soda. Not even beer. I prefer my red wine anyway but still, I loved a beer on a hot day. (no more Co2) I just dont think I can give up dairy. I know its not very popular here to consume it but I really love it. I would alway rather have a glass of milk over soda or anything else ever since I was a child. What to do. I've tried soy milk. It tasted like someone ashed a cigarette in my latte. I dumped that out. And ive tried rice milk. I was a little better but. I couldnt drink it like milk. On this phase of my diet I cant have rice milk anyway. Maybe somewhere down the road. Just Not today.
