Hey, just stopped by to say hello. Buy the way, check out my discussions and video area on my page, I have over 700 informative and educational videos in there. Lots of good stuff in there.
Ellie---I used Braggs organic vinegar with raw honey in 8oz of distilled water. I used as much of the honey to make it easier to get down. Raw hone is suppose to be good for you. I tried putting the vinegar in some juices but the water and honey tasted the best.
ellie--you mentioned that you had lost some weight a while back by taking vinegar before each meal. How much did you take ? I took a tlbs 3 times a day for about a month and gained a couple lbs. I also drank it during the day a couple of times. then I noticed I was retaining water a lot. Stopped taking it and have not retained the water any more. Strange how things work different on people. Were you on any special diet ?? I was hoping that this would also help my acid reflux like I have heard but it did not help that at all either.
Ellie, i make no claims to great knowledge of herbs like seabuckthorn ... it's recommend that you join the Herbal Healing group and ask your question there. A couple of the gals there are in a herbal board elsewhere. If they don't know, they could probably get you an answer.
As for the bee pollen question: I take bee pollen and can't say that it is necessarily sweet, but I don't know it's glycemic index rating. I'd recommend that you google search bee pollen and make sure for yourself before using.
I have seen David Wolfe state that when you have leafy greens mixed with fruits, it gives the glyconutrients an action like "time-release."
