No,I'm not doing hcg any more.
I would like to loose 9 more pounds,but really don't need too. We'll see as I get closer to 180. We went to a formal Sunday and I wore a little black dress,one friend commented that I must be a size 2. Really clothes can flatter,or make you look larger,It's underneath the clothes I'm working on.

Yes I am counting points. I have never been to a WW meeting. I have a book of points and a little slide rule counter to let you count points of anything you want to count,like a recipe you make up(which I do alot) then I figure out how many servings and eat a serving. I am loosing a pound a week. My husband is loosing a pound or 2 a week. He's not counting points but I'm cooking different,and shopping different,so he's eating different. When I met him he was 215 and I was 195. He is 6'2" and I'm 6' Then we ate and cooked and ate and cooked. I weighed 240 at my highest with him and he weighed in at 247 at his heaviest. Now I'm 189 and he is 213. We danced to the song staying alive and I wasn't embarrassed for the first time.
I haven't been "counting" points the last couple weeks because we have been going to lots of summer parties,camping,and graduations so i don't know what the points are. so on those days I keep my points lower at home and am careful when going out. Sunday I had a corner piece of cake,It was home made. I use to love the icing. After we danced I felt sick from the sugar. Sugar is something I rarely eat unless It's dark chocolate. So when I eat out I just have a little bit. And so far so good. hcg and WW have helped me see I don't need much food to function.
We went to a logging show Saturday and There was strawberry shortcake,taco salads,BBQ hamburgers. It all looked so good. I knew I was going to have cake on Sunday,so I didn't indulge. We packed snacks for the trip so I wasn't starving,drank lots of water. Before we left we spotted a awesome BBQ salmon,chicken or beef. We got 1 meat each,split a baked potato,coleslaw,and beans. Everyone else had their plates stacked high,and most people were very over weight too. I wasn't full but not hungry when I finished.
The most important things I do is eat often. And avoid nuts. I love them but can over eat them easily. Instead I buy peanut butter blot off all the oil and have a measured out 2 TBL in a container with a apple or some high fiber crackers. A good snack I have daily is 1/2 c grape nuts soaked in a little water to soften then 1/2 c low fat cottage cheese on top of that for 5 points. I eat lots of veggies too.
My lunch daily is 1 1/2 c strawberries,2 scoops rice protein,ton of baby greens and lemon crystal light with water in a blender. It makes almost a quart and a 1/2 for 3 points. I have a vodka and lemon every couple nights too and am still loosing.
It is working really good for me. I even make lasagna with whole wheat pasta and greens and light cheese and just have a little bit on a bed of greens. We are going camping this weekend so I'm really watching it this week and am working like a dog so it will be fine. I'm taking a pineapple to grill,and potato salad made lite,and some home made baked beans with no sugar(but will make it sweet) we all bring things and eat buffet style with a prime rib cooked over the coals. A dieters night mare???? on;y if you make bad choices,and eat too much and obsess. Life should be enjoyed and so should food.
I didn't read any blogs so I'm hoping all is going good for you. a healthy balanced life style is needed for us all to maintain our weight lost on hcg!

Hello, Sweetie! It's always nice to hear from you too! As for Joanne, I speak with her, Wendi, I speak with her took, but Judy, no. I haven't heard from Judy, but you know who I did hear from? Summer! She sent me a text message, saying, "Hi." I sent her one back saying the same thing. lol

I hear ya about those WW meetings. They really are negative and vibrate very low. phone is ringing gotta go

Hi, Lisa! Where did everybody go? LOL My husband said, "Things end." I guess our huge support group has ended, but when something ends, something else developes. Do you remember when our support group was active? We had so many people supporting us and each other--it was amazing. I am thankful that I had the support of others during that time in my life. It was almost two years of active communication. And, now, well, it's quiet. I'm finding other things to do with my time, such as talking with people and forming relationships in person. What else to do? I do miss everyone very much. I miss the whole internet thing of communicating with others.

I have joined a oil painting class at a art center in a really nice town. And, I have my yoga classes, two a week, still looking for the third (remember that I had to change yoga studioes b/c my former yoga guide teaches prenatel yoga now.) So, Monday I have oil painting, Tuesday, I have yoga, Wednesday I have yoga, Thursday, I go grocery shopping, that leaves Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Saturday is date night. And Sunday, maybe twice a month, I go to a Gathering of Seekers meeting. I just scheduled to meet with a guy, an energetic therapist on Fridays. It's action therapy, not talk therapy. I'm looking forward to seeing what it's like and how I develop more power and peace. There is a R night yoga class that I will try with John as he wants to do yoga. So that will be my third yoga class.

All of these classes and shopping are a 1 hour drive one way from my house, so that is a round-trip commute of 2 hours! LOL The yoga classes are 90 min, that is no including set-up and clean-up time, nor getting there 45 minutes early to get my spot! LOL Whew! I'm gone about 11 hours a day. I eat when I get home, around 10:30pm-11pm. LOL

It's like I work full time! LOL hehehehe There is nothing in this town that we live. It vibrates really low. So, we travel, an hour a way to shop, run errands, stroll, dine, take classes, everything; except tanning, banking, and drycleaning! LOL That is all that I do in this town. This town is yucko!!!!!!

What have you been up too? Where are you in you in the phases? You can order a kit of WW at Home if you do not want to do it online. I prefer the kit at home to online. It's easier for me to manipulate. I do go to meetings, Lisa. They don't feel good to me. The meetings that I have been to, and I've tried about three different one, seem negative to me. LOL So, I don't go. They seem very behind in nutrition, Lisa, promoting there WW products and not even talking about organic food or how sugar affects moods.

How is FL? What have you been doing besides working? Are you having any fun?

Oh, I did find a smoothie place that serves non-fat yogurt, but it still has white sugar in it. Even if I were to eat a store-bought frozen yogurt, it would still have white sugar in it. I found some really good frozen yogurts, but they had soy in them, no sugar. It was made with a natural sweetener like Stevia, but again it was made with soy, not dairy, and I don't do soy. Thank goodness that summer is only three months!

And, lol, it's summertime. I don't eat conventional food, but about 2 a month, so then add on two ice cream cones a month and that brings me to eating conventional food 1 per week. I don't consume white sugar daily either, but I have been eating raw honey. I count the WW points for the honey. It's still a sugar, even though it's natural. I eat the honey one week before my period. I have been doing this for about 6 months. Even raw honey has no nutritional value and is a sugar. The points for raw honey are 1 TBLS for 1 point. For a small cone at Dairy Queen, it's 5 points. I cannot beleive that I'm writing the word Dairy Queen!

Also, carbs and sugar can give us mood swings, and in general isnt' the greatest for us, but we are human, and inperfect, so the beauty of counting calories or ww points is that you can eat this stuff and still maintain weight, but just be careful as to how much you are eating. I eat conventional food once a week. Last night I had a small cone from Dairy Queen, lol. Now, lol, I don't do this all the time because of the sugar and hormones in the dairy, not to mention the chemicals, but once a week is okay. This is what my naturopath shared with me. Moderation, Lisa. Moderation. :)

DAY 8 P2 R1.......276.6....DOWN 1 lb under LIW..

Hi all! As I havent finished eating everything for today.....I will post what I ate yesterday DAY 7.when I woke up yesterday morning and weighed I was up.....but a gallon of water later,and back down we go!so this is what I ate yesterday:

BREAK: 2 eggs, w/ 2 oz. chicken, 1oz cheese ( omlette)
coffee w/ 1/2 & 1/2

1/2 cup yogurt, 1/2 cup blueberries,cashews

2 oz chicken, (1/2 hour later ) 2 oz chicken w/ 1 oz mozz
cashews

4 oz chicken ( leg)....1 oz brie cheese
lots of water...

DAY 6 P3.........I AM UP, NOW OVER MY LIW

I had some reservations about posting my weight here for all eyes to see,but I have decided to just do it! some of you know this already,and some of you have probably figured out Im huge,since I have mentioned needing at least 4 rounds....so....ARE YOU ALL SITTING DOWN?????? DAY 5 P3 I WAS UP .6#

Still under the LIW,though by a nose hair! lol, I havent really been " switching up this diet too much,as I am afraid too many changes will show me who is in charge here ( I am referring to the scale of course!) so onward I go.....breakfast is pretty much the same, heres what I ate today:

1 egg fried in butter,2 pork sausages 1 oz brie cheese

1 hour later: 1 oz brie
trail mix

lunch: 1 cup yogurt,handful strawberries
trail mix

4 oz ground bison,1 oz cheddar
trail mix

DAY 4 .......P3 I WAS UP 1.8 lbs THIS MORNING!!!!!!! HOLY CRAP!!!!!

That was a surprise this morning! I am still under my LIW by 1.6 lbs,so Im not freaking out YET, however,I think I overdid it w/ a little bit of everything! but I learned now,that "bacon isnt something Im ready to incorporate yet,as I am up.heres what I ate...


breakfast: the usual,egg beaters w. goat cheese,and 2 slices bacon ( had sugar in it!)

snack:: handful cashews, 4 strawberries,1 oz brie cheese

lunch: 4 oz turkey 2 oz cheese, 1 cup romaine, reg ranch

snack: more cashews......

DAY 3, P3......DOWN .2 LBS .....( 2.10 lbs UNDER LIW)

I lost again,only .2 lbs,but,is that normal????? well,I am just baffled at the amount of food I am eating,its almost too much for me.how did I get so FAT in the first place,I have never eaten so much food in my life I swear! This diet is amazing,I dont know what else to say about it! well here is menu from DAY 2:


Breakfast: 2oz egg beaters,2 oz goat cheese,onion,mush ( again same thing,this is my new fav.) 2 pork sausages too!
