The "exact" same thing happened to me. I read all Kevin's books up to Debt Cures. I was aggravated by the sales pitches, and then by most of the info. in the book. Some of it was good advice for someone who had no knowledge of money management, bu...

I think you are very right Che. The banking system does prey on the uneducated and naive, but you would be amazed how many "educated" people are so far in debt they will never get out. Part of it is what Channel said, we are living in a society th...

I think the people who benifited the most from debt cures are low income uneductated minorities. Those are the people who the banks and credit card companies make the most money from. Like kt said in the book. I fall into that catagory. Alot of yo...

Chanel, I do not blame you to be skeptical. I love some of your comments. But there are some sincere and nice people up there. Read a small comment in my Michael's reply. Good luck in your future and have a healthy life.

What I think happens, is that Kevin makes a product and then sells the rights of the product to a company. Because it just doesn't make sense that he would screw people over like this.

Michael, I also got suck into paying $140.52 for the "Free Money" book with all the extras and so far no free money for me yet, I am on chapter 17 "bye bye debt" now. I wish I could have known you first before making this expense before I called i...

O M G John Jack Napper you wrote what I thought months ago when I purchased it also. That is why I have been so grateful for the food info, but so skeptical about what info to trust. I was under the impresssion that KT was purely legit. But why wo...

Hi David Robinson ...! If a bill collector calls you ...don"t admit the debt. There is a Statute of Limitations on how long they can collect. If you admit the debt ...they can start all over. If you don"t admit the debt ...they have to stop callin...

Pseudoskeptics

A description of pseudoskeptics by Marcello Truzzi, Professor of Sociology at Eastern Michigan University (1987).

In science, the burden of proof falls upon the claimant; and the more
extraordinary a claim, the heavier is the burden of proof demanded. The
true skeptic takes an agnostic position, one that says the claim is not
proved rather than disproved. He asserts that the claimant has not
borne the burden of proof and that science must continue to build its
cognitive map of reality… Continue

What is Naturopathic Medicine? (Part I) by Dr. Amy Blount

Philosophy
Naturopathic Medicine is a distinctive approach to health and healing that recognizes the functional integrity of the whole person. Naturopathic Medicine is heir to traditional medicine in the Western world, emphasizing the treatment of disease through stimulation, enhancement, and support of the healing mechanisms inherent to the person. Naturopathic physicians apply advanced scientific understanding relative to physiological, biochemical and pathological processes to the integration of science and traditional medicines. Naturopathic Medicine emerges from specific principles based on objective observations of the nature of health and disease, continually reexamined in light of scientific research. These principles distinguish the profession from other medical approaches.

Education, Licensing & Scope

Acceptance into accredited naturopathic medical programs requires completion of both premedical undergraduate coursework and an extensive application and admission process. Naturopathic Physicians are trained in 4 or 5 year medical schools covering the same basic sciences and diagnostic techniques as conventional medical schools. Teachers and clinical internship supervisors in Naturopathic colleges and universities include ND’s, PhD’s, MD’s, DO’s, and DC’s. A two year-clinical internship in outpatient facilities is required prior to graduation.

"Naturopaths, like allopathic physicians, receive 4 years of post baccalaureate education culminating in a doctoral degree. They are broadly trained in the pre-clinical sciences and the clinical disciplines, with an emphasis on health promotion, disease prevention, and treatment based on the stimulation or support of natural processes. Their clinical education, which is entirely outpatient based, is designed to prepare them to be primary care providers." The Journal of the American Medical Association, 1998

Licensure is contingent upon individual state law* and graduation from a four or five-year, graduate level, regionally accredited naturopathic medical school (on-site, not “distance learning”), two full years of supervised clinical internship, and successful completion of both science and clinical boards.

Naturopathic medicine spans all aspects of family health from prenatal to geriatric care targeting whole-patient wellness. Advanced training in modalities such as homeopathy, spinal manipulation, minor surgery, botanical medicine, nutrition, counseling, and emotional and spiritual health allow for choice in healthcare. These techniques are applied on a case by case basis contingent upon the needs of the individual patient. The first priority is always to help patients achieve their optimal state of health.
