For those that do not know Danes are normally gentle. Mine is wonderful with my grandkids and yet has been very protective when the situation arose.

I'm a nurse and an emptynester who is a total Dog fanatic. My best friend is a 160 lb great dane. He is also a therpay dog who visits schools and works reguralrly with physical, speech and occuaptional therapists.Our home is also filled with a Search and Recsue dog and a couple of wonderful rescue dog who show us amazing grattitude everyday.
