Kurt had an MRI Monday on his brain tumor. The news wasn't what we were hoping for. He has improved so much in our eyes that we thought we would see a shrinking tumor. Well the tumor is the same size but the cyst that is beside the tumor is growing! Now we have to meet with the neurosurgeon again to talk about draining the cyst- again! December 5th 2007 was one of the worst days of my life. I found out that my son Kurt, just 22 months old, has a brain tumor. To make things worse we found out that the tumor is inoperable. We spent the next 11 days in the hospital as Kurt had to undergo a biopsy and ventriculostomy. Kurt recovered fast from the procedures but the biopsy was not sucessful, it could not be determined what kind of tumor he has.
