Instead of a steak day after work, I had a huge organic hamburger on a bed of lettuce, my usual almonds and some tea. I had to take a double take I lost 2.5#s overnight!!!!

Still on phase 3. Considering a steak day tomorrow. Eating mostly proteins and vegetables and apples and grapefruit and of course my favorite snack, organic raw almonds. I picked up 1# and I think it was from going out to a restaurant and eating the complimentary peanuts. Also at my new job it's difficult to drink water. If I don't drink the water I usually retain it. Anxiously awaiting the arrival of my 2nd round of phase 2 hcg.

I started my new job and I haven't quit my other one yet. Very busy and tired too. A slight increase in my weight since my last post. I blame that on not being able to drink the water on the job. So I think I've actually retained water from not drinking. I packed a bag lunch every day and have kept my appetite in check. So that's good. I hope everyone had a great week. I missed reading everyone's blogs. Will have to catch up this weekend.

I seem to be hovering around 184#s. My LIW was 182.5#. Thrilled about that. As long as I stay within 2 #s of my LIW, I have come to a concious decision some where along the way to NOT TRY to lose any more but just maintain my LIW weight during phase 3. I only want to lose abnormal fat and I believe the only way to do that is with hcg. Yesterday I ordered more hcg and now I need to gather my "junkie" supplies; needles, syringes and vials. Yippie. Had my cake and ate it too and lost a half a pound to boot! Still in the safe zone of within 2#s of my LIW of 182.5. I love this diet. Eat a treat and lose weight! The organic treats are so much better because they are made without the refined sugar that plays havoc on our pancreas and our metabolism. Just needed to see if it made a difference on the scale today and it didn't!!!!!! Is anyone doing phase 4 if they're repeating phase 2?

Again soooo happy that I have this phase under control. I should of journaled my food each day to see on paper what works and what makes me gain. I just know that phase 3 started out with a bang and the day after Christmas there was a steady incline for a whole week until I freaked out at 8#s above LIW. Well I seem to have stablized in phase 3. Today 2.5#s above LIW. I miscalculated my 2nd round of phase 2 date. Instead of February, I'll be starting on Jan. 31st. The sooner the better. I am down another 1.5#s from yesterday and now I am only 2.5#s from my LIW of 183.5. Whew! Recovering from Christmas was painful but the program works if you follow it! Now only 0.5# from the 2# allowance. Oh my gosh! Up 2#s from yesterday!! Okay there's no doubt that I am struggling with phase 3 since 12/26. If phase 4 adds sugar and starch, I'm in trouble. 2008 is the continuation of a great protocol that works! My sister and her family left yesterday. I'm monopolied and yahtzeed out! Glad to get back into my protocol routine. It's been better but no significant losses. Actually .5# gain. I'm not worried though because I was going full force before Christmas. I sailed through Thanksgiving like a Champ. All I can say is that I would never try to diet over the holidays ever again. It has dragged me down a bit. Even though I don't have any parties going on, there are the leftovers. I did give the remainder of the cookies and candies to my sister and her family from Mississippi, who is here over the holidays. I don't have them to snack on any longer. So that is good!! I have been on phase 3 for a little over a week and haven't really given it a chance but am very excited to get back on track.

Now I'm up 5.5#s over my LIW. I have to admit, I was shocked at the scale and it left me breathless when I saw the numbers. I walked out of the bathroom numb. We had hosted Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Christmas Day was extremely hard. I lost it on this day. We take turns so next year I won't have to host both. Tried to do the steak day this day and failed miserably. I had a day without food until 6pm and then had a huge org. sirloin steak with an apple. Then I went for the leftovers and everything else I won't mention.
