I have been wanting to do this for awhile and finally got around to buying the pH paper from the store last week. Ideally we want to fall between 6.5-7.5 on the alkaline scale and I was 7.5!! Wow, I was hoping the last 3 years of healthy eating made a difference but didn't expect it to be that good.

I guess you really have to keep a journal of testing results at different days and times to get a good result, and they also recommend a acid food binge for 2 days and then testing to see how well your body handles it, but not sure I want to put all that into my body.

I think I will stick with keeping the pH journal for a while to see how it is doing under different stresess and circumstances. I tested my boyfriend and he was a 6.0 so we have a little work to do on him.

I wish I had done this test 3 years ago so I could compare the difference and see the [apparent] improvement!
