I think the biggest thing I noticed (along with a friend with the same mindset) when I started to change my style of eating and do all my shopping in the produce aisle is the fact that there is no "food" in my pantry. My friend's pantry is full of "food". Cans and boxes and jars and of cereal and peanut butter and boxed meals and canned soup and food bars and such. It's not food, but "food".
My pantry has in it, several bags of loose tea, organic pastry flour, organic raw sugar, brown rice, olive oil, coconut oil, whole grain organic pasta and balsamic vinegar. Sometimes a jar of organic pasta sauce and a container of organic vegetable broth when I need something quick..
And that's pretty much it. All my FOOD is in the refrigerator and came from the produce aisle and I have my pasture raised grass fed beef and wild caught seafood in the freezer along with my frozen vegetables from the garden last year.
What's in your pantry?

sometime I really need something to eat in a hurry - and since my pantry is very similar to yours - I often wonder what could help in this need
