Community Cures.com

Hello!
I am new at writing a blog so I am unsure how this goes.
I have done the Phase2 of the weight loss program in Kevin Torneau's book.
I am on day 38 and have lost 27lbs.
I am satisfied and not hungry whatsoever. I am very content and my mood swings are very stablized.
I did a few things wrong initially but evenso, I am plugging along with consistant weight loss.
What I would like to glean from this blog are some others who have been on the diet and some pointers as well as some recipes for some new food combinations. It is getting alittle boring and I am eating the same items over and over.

I lost the 35lbs. on Phase 2 and am slowly adding a few things to my menu but the weight loss has stablized. This is so exciting for me...yahoo...Karen

Lynette;I am basically doing the Phase2 diet but adding more fruit( cantalope, peaches) nuts and some cheese. No sugar, carbs or creamy stuff.I only eat cashews and I did eat some deviled eggs at a picnic.
I didn't add watermelon or bannanas or grapes. And I didn't add milk or yogurt.
This weekend I am going camping so I am going to eat some popcorn..yeah.I am really taking a walk on the "wild side"..LOL!!
I am so amazed with this whole process. It is doing what the book said it would and it seems to work on EVERYBODY, regardless as to what your individual issues are.
I am so encouraged...karen

Lynette;I am home from camping..I did very well. Ate salads and fruit and didn't eat smores,or any carbs.
Creamy stuff: mayo,sauce,ect.
How come you don't do fruit? I understood from the book that you were to do all fruit of P3 EXCEPT grapes, watermellon and bannanas. Isn't that right?
I am not familar with Mascarpone Cheese. Is it good? where do I get it..yum...I love all cheese.
I did eat popcorn this weekend but I didn't weigh all weekend. Not sure yet if it was okay..:( scarey..LOL>
I am back in the saddle and start the P2 again around the 15th. I can't wait...It is so exciting to see the scale go downward DAILY!!yipee!!

Lynette;
I weighed this morning and even lost a half pound soo, the popcorn went well with my journey of "weight loss"..I am very happy about this..My favorite junk foods are popcorn and licorice.I don't know if they make any licorice without chemicals or sugar but I am on a mission to find out..LOL.
We don't have any Whole Foods around my area but we do have several specialized Italian Markets so I am going to checkout that cheese. It sounds yummy.
Fruit has always been my satisfaction whenever I get a slight "sweet-tooth' and the benefits of the fiber and roughage are extraordinary.I do miss watermelon but I can live without it.
without fruit in your diet, how are you getting fiber and roughage? All that protein, has to have some "binding" effects on you..haha.( sorry, I have a crazy sense of humor..:()
The fruit is working well for me and I think that you are suppose to add fruit, at least according to the "Weight Loss Cure" book so I am going to keep going with that in mind.
I am so very happy with this process. It is awesome...
