Day 9 of Releana and the official weigh-in at the Dr's office....

So the hunger is finally subsiding a bit. But I've had to scarf a tomato or some cucumber slices a time or two, just to keep from hurting my children. I protect my food like an inmate. I cooked some shrimp on the George Foreman grill last night and my sweet little 5 year old daughter says "Mommy can I have one of your shrimps?" Poor girl, I hope I didn't scar her for life. Even my husband is defending my portions. "Sweetie, you can't eat one of mommy's 8 shrimp, that's all she gets..."

Ok, so on to the good stuff.

My doc says I can come in as often as I'd like to weigh-in. The pull my chart, update my info. It all feels very legit. And this way, I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth! So, during my consultation I weighed-in at 134.6lbs......and today....drum roll please........126.6lbs!!!!

Whoo hooo! 8 lbs!!! Whooo HOOO!

Shrimp!!?? does the protocol call for shrimp? isn't shellfish bad for you? or is that part of the whole retraining of the body?

My protocol is a bit different since I'm not injecting hCG. I'm using a "patent pending" sublingual called Releana. Although my list of allowed foods is pretty slim, shrimp was on it, and actually so is fresh lobster too. I've never heard that shellfish is "bad for you". ???

I am on day three of the Releana program. Day one and two were absolute hell. Today has been better but I find that i think about food continuously. I found this site looking for recipes.

Jill and Denese, I have been using Releana for about three months now and have lost close to 40 lbs. The great thing about Releana is that I am more energetic than before, my skin is not sagging because of the weight loss. People tell me all the time that I look great. I still have another 30 lbs to lose but I know that I will get there. Yes the meal choices are limited but you will feel a lot better when the weight is off and you won't crave those foods that caused the weight gain anymore.

I am starting Day 4 of the diet. yesterday was the first day for the 500 Calorie Diet. First two days were the loading phase and I pretty much ate as normal (which is too much). I think the hardest part was making sure I got all my water in. I knew coming into this it would be kinda hard in the evenings since I like to come home and have several cocktails and watch TV. SO>>>I went to the Neddlepoint Store on my way home from work and sat in the den needlpointing for 6 hours. No cocktails, no snacks just sewing away. Finally at 11:00pm I remembered I needed to eat eat my apple. I was so into the sewing..food or alcohol was not on my radar. So I am substuting needlpointing from high calorie intake in the evenings. This morning I was so pleased at how much I had actually sewn on my canvas. Looks like I lost 1 pound..could be all the water I drank? I guess ONE DAY AT TIME!!

Ok Morning of Day 7 and down 2lbs from yesterday! I was a little nervous because I know I probably had around 5 or 6 Oz of protein last night verses 3.5. Could help it..the fish on the Foreman was so delicious! Not really hungry or any cravings. So far..I am pleased!
