Day 9 of Releana and the official weigh-in at the Dr's office....

So the hunger is finally subsiding a bit. But I've had to scarf a tomato or some cucumber slices a time or two, just to keep from hurting my children. I protect my food like an inmate. I cooked some shrimp on the George Foreman grill last night and my sweet little 5 year old daughter says "Mommy can I have one of your shrimps?" Poor girl, I hope I didn't scar her for life. Even my husband is defending my portions. "Sweetie, you can't eat one of mommy's 8 shrimp, that's all she gets..."

Ok, so on to the good stuff.

My doc says I can come in as often as I'd like to weigh-in. The pull my chart, update my info. It all feels very legit. And this way, I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth! So, during my consultation I weighed-in at 134.6lbs......and today....drum roll please........126.6lbs!!!!

Whoo hooo! 8 lbs!!! Whooo HOOO!

Well hello everyone! I think I am going to try the apple thing this week for a few days. I gained 3.5 pounds and I need to get back on track. I havent been wanting any meat so I will just do veggies and apples all day along with my appetite suppresant so I wont starve! I am up to 192.3(today) from 188.9(thursday) and I need to get back down before the end of the week. So I will skip the meat and drink plenty of water and hopefull;y by this Friday I will be back down to at least 187.....
HOw wasd everyones Valentines day! I did go out to eat on Saturday to this Japanese Restaurant and had chicken, shrimp, and rice. It was so good but I was so bad for doing that. So I take responsiblilty for that and I will get back on track now that the holiday is gone. I am lookng to be down to 185 by the end of the month and I will be fine with that until I start another round. Was everyone else stronger than I over the weekend!!!!!

Hi Jaime, welcome! Hello toeveryone else too. I had another day with no weight loss. I am so upset. I am going to try to reach the Dr. tomorrow for some advice on what I should do. I will also try the apple thing to see if i can move the scale that way. When I saw the scale this morning I did something really stupid. I ate 3 Milano cookies and a handfull of Cheetos. I figured what the heck, since I wasn't losing anything anyway. I know. Stupid! But I am mjust so frustrated with this. I'm eating what I should be and nothing's happening

Good job on the weight loss. I will mention it to my doctor. I will have to wait until I see them again, as they are only in on Wed and Thurs. I don't know what they'll tell me, but i hope it's something that will change my weight loss. Keep up the great work everyone.

Wow lisa that is harsh I have to hand it to you for sticking with it, I would have been long gone if not losing weight! Good job!!!!!!! It's been 2 weeks from the first day of the load up day and I am down 14 lbs. This has never happened on another diet for me. I am having a hard time with cravings at this point!!! I'm sure you all are feeling the same way, the weightlos is worth it!!!!! So keep on going and lisa you should talk to your doctor you are giving up too much not to lose weight.

Thanks for the ideas. I hope you enjoy your vacation. Have fun and enjoy yourself. Don't worry too much about the food. Just make good choices and you should be fine. Let us know how your vacation was when you get back.

Ok Ladies..I am off on a 9 day vacation. I hope I do OK with the maintenance. Last night I cheated having peanut butter on a cracker. It was delicious and that is all I had for dinner. So maybe I will be OK. When I come back in 9 days I hope you all have lost tons of weight and I won't gain any. Lisa I am frustrated for you. Try the plateau buster. Starting at noon eat apples until the next day until noon. You can have up to 6 apples during this 24 hour period. They say while doing this cut back on the water. I did this one time and only ate 3 apples during the 24 hours. I was not hungry and I think it helped. I would visit with your DR. about this zero loss. I am wondering if you got a bad batch of HCG?? Oh and I just read if you drink ice water..it burns 40 calories for your body to procees it to body tempature. So if you have 10 glasses of ice water that is 400 calorie burn!! Not bad when we are only having 500 calories. Good luck to all and I will check in on the 23rd when we get back!!

3 days and zero weight loss. I am drinking more water than I should be, I haven't cheated. I don't know what the problem is. I did read something on the web on how to maximize your weight loss with thte hcg diet. They did say to exercise. Not strenouosly, but just enough to get things going. So, I tried that this morning. We'll see what happens tomorrow with the scale.

Or carb free PIZZA?? My sister started this diet last weekend and has already lost 9 lbs!! I just think everyone is different in how they lose weight. Lisa..when you are not losing lbs. You are probably losing inches. Drink more water!!
