Day 9 of Releana and the official weigh-in at the Dr's office....

So the hunger is finally subsiding a bit. But I've had to scarf a tomato or some cucumber slices a time or two, just to keep from hurting my children. I protect my food like an inmate. I cooked some shrimp on the George Foreman grill last night and my sweet little 5 year old daughter says "Mommy can I have one of your shrimps?" Poor girl, I hope I didn't scar her for life. Even my husband is defending my portions. "Sweetie, you can't eat one of mommy's 8 shrimp, that's all she gets..."

Ok, so on to the good stuff.

My doc says I can come in as often as I'd like to weigh-in. The pull my chart, update my info. It all feels very legit. And this way, I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth! So, during my consultation I weighed-in at 134.6lbs......and today....drum roll please........126.6lbs!!!!

Whoo hooo! 8 lbs!!! Whooo HOOO!

Hi everyone Well this is getting harder for me, It's not that I'm hungery it's that I want to eat something else!!!!!!! I keep trying to focus on the weight., I know the diet works. I have read that the first 20 days is the most important and not to stray so I have'nt. I dont have much energy in the day. I can handle that because I dont work.. The fact that I cant eat or drink is getting to me as I enjoy both!! I was also wandering about the next part of the diet I know its 3 or 5 weeks of no carbs but more fat so maybe cheese or a small ice cream, Is there such a thing as carb free cookie? LOL

Hi Teresa,

Yes, I am following the diet to a T. I don't know what the deal is. I have really put my mind to losing this weight, but when I see a gain like that for no reason, I get frustrated. It didn't come off today either. I was the same as yesterday. Does anyone know how to maximize your weight loss on Releana? If so, fill me in.

I did it last year for the 1st time, right before the holidays and I was cheating so bad, I decided to wait til after the holidays(which is the round I am doing now). I did lose 15 pounds before I quit last year. I didnt complete the maintenance phase so this will be the first time I go all the way through. IT was EXTREMELY tough during the holidays, i will never try that again. But the people I know that have gone all the way through the maintenance only gained like 2 - 3 pounds back and when they did, they ate the steak and apple and it come right back off. SO I am hoping it works that way for all of us!

Teresa, have you done this diet before? I was curious because I was wondering about the maintenance part of the diet. Has anyone out there gone through more than one round of Releana??

Morning everyone! I am up 2 pounds this morning, I am at 190....I havent been drinking my water like I should and also yesterday I had a training class at another office and I had fried chicken and mashed potatoes. WHat did I do that for! I know better! I couldnt resist and Ifeel horrible! But i am paying for it on the scale, 2 pounds up. I will drink plenty of water and not cheat anymore because I have about 30 pounds to lose!
Lupe, try to eat before you cook dinner for your family, that usually helps because you are not as hungry while you are cooking.
Lisa, are you drinking plenty of water? Are you following the diet to the "T"? Becuase any type of oil, butter or sugar will make you put on a couple of pounds(trust me I know from the 1st time).... Dont give up, because you stil lhave time to lose the weight. We do know the diet work so hang in there....

Well ladies it's day 14 for me and my total is 11. which I will take since I will go out on the weekends, and this week I couldn't help and ate some cheese bread while I was making my family dinner one night.....that's the hardest for me when I still have to fix them stuff and then not be able to eat it.... But hopefully next week I'll do better. Good job everyone.

Krissy and Teresa Good for you I am impressed. I gained 2.5 lbs. since yesterday. I did not cheat at all, so I am very upset. I don't know how i could gain this much weight with only 500 calories. I hate this, but this is what my body does. It has a difficult tine with losing weight. Very frustrating

Yes I lost 12 lbs and this is my 12th day. I am not hungery I was tierd today, but tomorrow I get my B12 shot so Im sure that is what it is. Good going every one, start shopping for those bathing suits!!!!!!!!!!
