Day 9 of Releana and the official weigh-in at the Dr's office....

So the hunger is finally subsiding a bit. But I've had to scarf a tomato or some cucumber slices a time or two, just to keep from hurting my children. I protect my food like an inmate. I cooked some shrimp on the George Foreman grill last night and my sweet little 5 year old daughter says "Mommy can I have one of your shrimps?" Poor girl, I hope I didn't scar her for life. Even my husband is defending my portions. "Sweetie, you can't eat one of mommy's 8 shrimp, that's all she gets..."

Ok, so on to the good stuff.

My doc says I can come in as often as I'd like to weigh-in. The pull my chart, update my info. It all feels very legit. And this way, I feel like I'm really getting my money's worth! So, during my consultation I weighed-in at 134.6lbs......and today....drum roll please........126.6lbs!!!!

Whoo hooo! 8 lbs!!! Whooo HOOO!

I have not checked this site a couple of weeks and was so pleased to see new visitors supporting one another. Today is day 25 for me! I have lost about 15 lbs. Last weekend we went out of town and I stayed on the diet..but the ingredients that the restauranst used to cook chicken (HONEY) and beef (MUSHROOM GLAZE) set me back. I have been good all week until last night, Went to a Mardi Gras party and I told my husband before we left.I AM GOING TO EAT! He said"Honey I don't blame you!" So I had a salad, green beans and about 12oz. of chicken and fish and two crab cakes!! My goodness it was wonderful!! OH and Wine!!But..this morning up one pound on the scale. SHAME SHAME ON ME!!! I was interested to read that one of you was having back pain! Yes!! My back has really been hurting too. Yestrday I took extra potassium and no pain today. I bought some herbal laxitives becasue I was so constipated. They worked..but I guess since we are not eating that much..there is not much to get rid of. I have three days left and I am going to be very good!
I wish I had lost more..but it is still amazing to me to lose 15 pound in 24 days!! I am looking forward to maintance and introducing more variety in my salads and larger portions of meat. I will go back on in 5 weeks. I can't wait for the "LOADING" part....PIZZA is my first choice!! Good luck to all of you and hang in there...IT WORKS!!

Hi everyone. I'm a bit discouraged with things. I have been following the diet to a T and yesterday I only lost 1 pound. I need to increase this somehow, or I will never get all this weight off.

Thank you for the response. I have 60 lbs to lose and I want to continue this until I get there or am almost there. I hope the Dr. at my weight loss place agrees with me. Kep up the good work. The weight will come off.

Hi Lisa good job!!! I did'nt lose any today but I'm still down 8lbs so I cant comeplain. Yes you can stay on until your goal weight is reached. The first 20 days are the most important !!!!!! After that time if you go off a bit it will set you back 3 days, but not interfere with future weightloss. THis is what I have read. I had 4 extra bites of pineapple last night hope I did'nt mess up too bad I'm only on day 6. I plan on doing it 3 months maybe 4 if I can last. I want to lose 80 pounds. I will stop for a week between so I can drink, drinking is a no no!!!! I also found out we can have leen beef, no hamberger.

Hi everyone. How did all of you do yesterday? I was down 1.5 lbs since yesterday. I'll take it. Do any of you know whether you can do the Diet part of Releana more than once? I would like to get off as manyy pounds as I can using this method. Let me know if you know anything.

Hi everyone nice job on the weightloss this diet is doing great things for us all!!!! We are doing a great thing for ourselves. and we deserve it. I am going to get some crabmeat and fish tomorrow, all I'v been eating is chicken and shrimp. Are we able to eat eggplant and mushrooms? I need to mix it up a bit. When I dont eat what I want I dont feel satisified. Shrimp and asparagus for lunch, shrimp and salsa for dinner. So if you have a gem of a meal please share. I am really looking foreward to my fruit snack . You all are doing so well, and the weekends are hard no eating or drinking.... well that is what I did on the weekend!!! WE are going to the party I told my girlfriend we may not stay but a have to go I can't stop living my life. We will all have our ups and downs. I have to keep my eye on the prize.

Thanks for the advice and the motivation. I do save my fruit for at night, but while I'm making my son something, I take little nibbles of it. I have got to remain strong. Congratulations on your 8 pounds. That's excellent. I really enjoy hearing about everyones successes. Keep it up.

Thanks guys! I didn't work out last night and today has been WAY better. I may continue to walk for about 30 minutes a day, but nothing high impact. I have lost 9 pounds since Monday and that is motivation for me, because usually, I don't make it past the first week on other diets! The weekends are going to be a challenge for me, because I will be home and will be around food for 2 whole days! Thank goodness my cravings for sweet things have pretty much gone away now.
