I read one of your comments .. as follows: The other day, I was driving and the world seemed fake. Everything. Then all of a sudden, I got this wonderful feeling of warmth throughout my body, from head to toe with the feeling, so clear, that all we have is love. This was not a thought, but a feeling from beyond--it was absolutely beautiful. It only lasted seconds. I tried to get it back, but, lol, I could not. So, I am glad to have been left with that enlightening reality. I thank God for having the opportunity to experience it. It was divine and absolutely wonderful.
What people don"t realize is ... we are not human beings that have spirtual experience"s ...we are spirit beings having a human experience, under the veil of forgetfulness .

I have a client who told me her daughter lost all interest in food when she went on south beach and lost a ton of weight. It is a slippery sloap. I love food and never want not too. I just need to eat tiny amounts of food that is nurishing to my body and soul. Food and cooking is part of who I am. It is a way for me to express my creative side. To experiment. to make some thing taste good and be healthy for me too.
John and I like to have company for dinner or lunch. I love to cook for people. Love to see them enjoy the REAL food they are eating instead of the typical junk.
you sound kinda lonely. you probably don't feel that way though. Keeping yourself going and buisy helps fill the void. I wish you and your John could find a way to make time for each other and want to be in the others presence.
A small little book John and I just finished is called "real moments for lovers"(I think) It talks about how a embrace is different than a hug,how a long look into your partners eyes is more than just a glance how just these small things but meaningful things are what is missing with couples today.couples have lost the art of creating real moments in their life. Life is shallow,empty. they are lonely but not living alone. These jestures create intimacy,and not just sexual . Intimacy is lacking today. Instead people are selfish with words,love and care for the one they once loved deeply. I wish you could find that again. We cant give love if we don't our self have it. We try to fill our self up in so many ways that are empty. Maybe you could find this little book.
I only said this out of care. our life should be so much more than one day passing to the next. Life is ment to be enjoyed,to be filled with joy. We don't need any external tool for this,this is a inside job. Take care Lynn hope you keep in toutch. As I said I'll get some pics up soon.

Had been maintaining pretty well. The weight started creeping up this summer little by little but not too bad(about 5 lbs) Basically from all the camping,boating,graduations and all the stuff where you eat food other than your own..
Recently my husband and my 25 yr old son did a round of HCG with me. Together we all lost 75 lbs in a 35 day round. My husband lost really well(35 lbs) right in his stomach and double chin. He looks really good. I am at my lowest. 183. In a size 7/8 pants. Lg tops. It was fun to do hcg with them,it really helped keep me on track. It has been over 3 weeks and we have never even come close to our LIW.
A friend loaned me her hcg self guided book(the red one) and it list all the yes and no foods for all the phases...seems to work well for us. Even though we can now, we are very careful with breads,pastas that sort of thing. I'm not counting points....yet,but I'm sure I will at some point. Learning the point system helped me know what is roughly in what. We eat every couple hours and keep our bodies fueled.
I'm active but don't work out as much as I like. My activity today is hauling and stacking some of our 2 cords of wood and cleaning a house. I have been canning up a storm. Using stevia for everything. A non bitter powder brand I found is called NU STEVIA. I have made bread and butter pickles,black berry syrup,a variety of jams and fruit chutneys..oh ya and zucchini relish all using stevia. Also made a apple and pear pie(2 separate pies) I used the home made pear butter mixed with pears and the same technique with the apples,everyone freaked out it was so good and with NO SUGAR.
As I type this I'm eating a slice of this cake type thing I made with wheat germ,wheat bran,oat bran,flax,millet,pear butter,egg,stevia(made a sorta cake batter)and folded in pear chunks. Then I had a small slice with pear butter on top with non fat greek yogurt. sooooo yummy.(a very Sm portion)
A typical day for me is 2 fruits. We have apples and italian plums from the tree now. for breakfast lately I make a 4 egg omelet and give John 3/4 of it. It always contains a bunch of chard,spinach and kale,mushrooms and onions. I add some lower fat cheese but not alot,and also some lean meat. Then fresh tomatoes go on top with non fat greek yogurt. some times salsa too. I have been making some fantastic salsas. The last one was strawberry,peach jalapeno. Really really yummy on a omelet. I try and squeeze a small v8 in there some where during the day as well as only a small amount of nuts. Basically for lunch is a salad with something like tuna . Dinner is always veggies usually from the garden and chicken,game hen,hamburgers on the grill. This last weekend I marinated flank steak in some hot chillies and spices with our apple wine. we made fajitas,but had it on a bed of lettuce with the peach strawberry salsa. One night we had it over a fresh dug potato from the garden.

I read you lost your dog? Oh, so sorry. I know how attached you were. That's too bad. Life really throws some curve balls, huh. I know that you're strong and will make it thru it but it stinks. Again, Sorry.
Hi Lynn. Thanks for getting in touch. I am doing ok. Very busy with my business as it has just taken off for me. I have gained back a bunch of weight (didn't follow the diet) and ready to start another round to do it the right way. Depressing but that's the way it works when you make those choices. How are you and have you kept off your weight? I miss the old gang and need to get online again and will be daily. Does anyone get on here daily as they used to?
Hi, Lynne, I didn't read your comment right away like I normally do just because my pain is close to the surface still that when I read your comments it opens up my pain and I end up crying all over again. I'm glad my comments helped you because you did the same for me when my Will Lee died. I remember when I washed Will Lee's blankets that being particularly hard to get through. We'll get through this, Lynne. Just hang in there.
Wow Im so sorry to hear that. Well I have been off the diet for several months and wanna do it again I havent gained much back lost 31 gained 8 not bad . I m now working out with a trainer as well. Im kinda scred to do it hcg again while working out makes me tired but i want dbl effect lol. Have a wonderful weekend..
