I've been known to ruffle a few feathers now and then too, not that I'm trying to offend anyone. Of course my real intention is to help them. This has happened when discussing "RLS" and "Acid Relux" amongst other "diseases". For eample, I have a friend who told me her 1 year old neices' doctor said the little girl has acid reflux and may have to be on medication her whole life. Do you think I could just bite my tongue?
I would think members of a group like this would be open to the fact that the drug companies will get any condition they can classified as a disease for no purpose other than being able to sell a drug to treat it.
Did you read the special notice sent out today? Something about banning "members who post personal attacks, make statements meant to create conflict,or do anything to disrupt the flow of the community."? I'm not sure what they're referring to, but I sure hope it's not about discussing issues such as this even though it may ruffles some feathers. Afterall, isn't this what we're here for?
