Hi, Bambi. Just checking in. How is it going with Seven+?

By the way, this is a really good time for friends and family to try it out. I found out that they phased out the sample size bottles, but to honor their commitment until the end of September, they are mailing a full 30-day to bottle in its place for only the $2.99 s/h. That's unbelievable! www.iexfuze.net/2020

Come next month, they will start doing a different type of free bottle promotion with the bigger bottles, but not as cheap as $2.99.

Tell all your friends and family. Keep me posted on your results.

Monoluarin is the lauric acid removed from coconut oil and it is very strong so you only need a little bit 3 times per day...it is much easier to take than eating oil! It is also more economical to take it in this form.

Coconut Oil: A Natural Remedy for Pneumonia

An encouraging new study shows that coconut oil can offer pneumonia patients a faster and more complete recovery. The results of the study were presented in Philadelphia at a meeting of the American College of Chest Physicians on October 29, 2008 by Gilda Sapphire Erguiza, M.D. of the Philippine Children’s Medical Center and Daniel Rauch, M.D. of the New York University Langone Medical Center.

The study analyzed the results of adding in a regimen of coconut oil for 40 children whose ages ranged from 3 months to 5 years old. All of the children had been diagnosed with community-acquired pneumonia, a lung infection obtained outside of a hospital setting. The children were all treated with the typical antibiotic ampicillin.

Half of the children were also given a dose of coconut oil based on their weight. The oil was administered for three consecutive days. Children who received doses of coconut oil recovered much faster than those who did not. On average, the children who took coconut oil had a normal respiratory rate after less than 33 hours. The other children’s rate normalized after about 48 hours. The children who received coconut oil showed reduced fevers, clear breathing and normal blood oxygenation faster than the control group.

In practice, these results can lead to a reduced hospital stay, which means lower medical expenses for patients and hospitals, as well as less exposure for the patient to a hospital environment. Coconut oil itself in an inexpensive addition to traditional antibiotics, and brings with it no known side effects.

While these findings are indeed interesting, especially to those who are seeking natural methods of healing common illnesses, they are not quite definitive. The study was done on a small scale and only to children, so certain variables have not been tested. However, the study shows a lot of promise. Pneumonia is a serious childhood illness. In developing countries, it is a leading cause of mortality in children. Coconut oil may be especially helpful for children living in these countries.

So, what is coconut oil’s secret? Researchers are still looking for that answer, but the current hypothesis points to lauric acid, an antimicrobial substance found in coconut oil. This may naturally boost the body’s immune system and the effectiveness of the antibiotics administered for treatment.

The study certainly encourages parents to consider this treatment for pneumonia, but Dr. Rauch did point out it could be dangerous to try to force a child to take the oil if they don’t want it. If the child choked on the oil, it could be aspirated in the lungs. This could cause serious problems. Of course, this can be avoided by easily mixing the oil with food.

You're welcome. Now that you mention malnourishment, I recently had a nutrient blood test done called Spectracell. I higly recommend you ask your doctor about it. I did awesome on all the nutrients in it and was borderline on only two (b2 and b12). I eat mostly vegan so no big surprise there. I was supplementing b12 for a few months before the test, but I know how hard it is for us to really absorb the cyanacobalamin version and have now switched to the methylcobalamin form. My overall anti-oxidant level was in the "ideal" category (out of low, average and ideal), and my individual anti-oxidants were awesome also. My doctor was really impressed with my results. The funny thing is that I hadn't taken a multi-vitamin in almost a year 1/2, so I know exactly why I tested so well. The bio-availability of the nutrients in Seven+ is the key. So many products may appear good on the outside, but if they are not highly bio-available there's no point in wasting our money. I knew just how strong Seven+ was when my vision changed in just a few weeks. I know that won't happen to everybody, but I know of at least 6 other people personally for which it did.

I hope you get your health all figured out soon.

Yes, do look into a colon cleanse, recently someone posted on a procuct called the super cleanse and I think the ingredients are great and it is very affordable $10-$15 for a bottle, check iherb.com, take it for a week or two then add on a fiber supplement to help cleanse the intestinal walls.

After that you can do an herbal tea detox for the liver, such as from Traditional medicines herbal tea products, they are found at most grocery and health stores. This would be a safe and affordable way of going about it.

Have a lovely day!

For the eczema take primrose oil it works wonders!!! Take it internally & apply it externally. To start 3 gel caps 3 x per day, after a week you can decrease the amount to 2 x per day, then after another week 1 x per day.

Hey Bambi,
Do you have any suggestions on how to get little kids to eat more healthy, my little boy thats in my pic is very hard to get him to eat anything good, even fruit. I know it is my fault because I have had a sweet tooth issue until more recently when me and my husband have changed our diets. Any suggestions would be helpful

Thanks

Bambi, I'm not into supplements. I get my building blocks from organic foods, as much of it raw as possible. Most vitamin products are isolates and lack the phytonutrients necessary for assimilation by the body.

Successful veganism takes self-education. It isn't rocket science or anything. Understanding the basics will help you to avoid embalances with the twins and in your own body!!

Leafy greens are high in iron. You've got babies, empty little sponges. They don't know at this point that they aren't suppose to like greens!!! :D A bag of organic frozen fruit with a few leaves of greens should keep a sippy cup going for quite a while!

"Eating the rainbow" is how we ensure all 8 glyconutrients, PRObiotics and enzymes that we need. Litereally, change up their food offering daily. Kids are attracted to bright intense color ... try offering it to them with there foods: a plate of cut up fruits and veggies that they can "graze" on.

I didn't have twins, I had "almost-twins" ... they are almost 13 months apart. I learned to feed them on a grazing schedule to save my sanity - that was 30 yrs ago. I wasn't organic or holistic back then, just interested in their being healthy. They toted a baggy around with dried fruits, wheat crachers and cheese. If they wanted more, they got it. Neighborhood kids mama would call to see what their kid had brought home, I'd tell them, to be told "she doesn't eat stuff like that." FUNNY, that kid came to my door almost daily for her baggy! I guess the mamas thought their kids didn't eat much at meal time.
