Dear Ray:
I agree with the idea that Michelle gave you about the Chiropractor...I too have had the same tingling pain in my hands and shoulder and knew it was due to my three herniated discs in my neck. The thoughts of it bleeding is however not a good sign...the neurosurgeon sounds at this time to be the best answer.

Although I am not personally into surgery due to the fact that major nerves and muscles have to be cut to get to the problem area...yet if it is broken...it does need to be fixed...

Keeping ones immune system sound is the key at this point for you...so the nutritional advice given by all up to this point...is a very sound idea...

I like Rosie will keep you in my prayers...

Were the area not a bleeding...Chiropractic Care, massage therapy, physical therapy, exercise, diet changes and modifications...faith, trust and belief that God has all things under control...would be my advice.

Try taking vitamin K and complete B complex. Ensure your B complex has adequate B1, B6 and Biotin.

Dear KnowNow:

I would like to offer something that might be of interest to Ray with the Vitamin K addition that you suggested...If Ray is on a blood thinner...the Vitamin K could create a problem being its sole purpose is for blood thickening...kind of like a canceling out the good that the thinner is trying to do.

Personally I don't like blood thinners other than the natural kinds like grapefruit juice...I don't even like aspirins because they can cause stomach discomfort, even can cause it to bleed...

I do like the other suggestions that you made about the complete B complex, adequate B1, B6 and Biotin...

I am not trying to undermine your suggestions...just add abit more...please understand okay?

You are absolutely right Michelle!

I never buy vitamins, minerals or herbs from drug stores or department stores like Walmart and such...for I know that the pharmaceutical companies have tried to imitate these precious products...and one really doesn't know the real from the imitation when a shopping at these places...

Very good point...
Thank you

Thanks Michelle:

I will try to find my comments page...
Good point. I personally think to keep a good balance one should take vitamin E while taking vitamin K. But not sure if Vitamin E is a good idea when excessive bleeding is already occurring.

Oh yes, I also should have mentioned taking an iron capsule. Lack of iron from bleeding can cause weakness.

Dear One:

My first thought is this...the iron capsule that you are a taking, is it a natural source or man made?

I know that yellow dock when my blood cells become tired and a needing regeneration...always works for me?

The pharmaceutical grade of iron causes one to have digestive upsets...constipation and such...I personally don't see how anything other than a natural iron source could fill the missing ingredients, do you?

Just my thoughts for whatever they are worth.

I agree lack of iron from bleeding, most definitely would cause weakness...how about B12 sublinguial? That has been known to help lots of chronic pain sufferers of unknown causes...

Sorry:

I forgot about the Vitamin E portion of your question mixed in with the Vit. K...now again, if you have been placed on a blood thinner...(you never responded to that question) the Vit K. is a no, no...please remember that...okay? Vit K. is a blood clotter...if you are a taking a blood thinner medicine...they cancel each other other...one is then a starting at zero...understand?

I believe that a Vit E supplement is necessary for all...provided of course it is from a natural source...and not another pharamaceutical source...just my thoughts...all can do what they want to...

A good multimineral/vitamin natural source...with added yellow dock , would be the best avenue I would travel were I in your situation...perhaps with an natural superfood nutritional drink with all the added antioxidants that would fuel your immune system to swing past the point of trauma that your body is obviously exhibiting due to the bleed out and pain...

My site on my page, has my site that has all these valuable foods that I have found personally to assist all in these directions...see, Limu for one for it to me works on the adrenals, and thyroid from which all energy originates in our body...low of energy...stamina and wellness...seek it.

Good luck
I will keep you in my prayers...

Ray the gentleman that started this thread stated the following:
....I am 66 andI do not take ANY meds....

I personally think blood thinners and such including aspirin (taken daily) are very dangerous. The side effects can be deadly.

I know of one lady that messed up her baby plateletes(sp) and had to get weekly blood transfusions. Others that have ended up in hospital and with strokes.

Word of warning to those taking doctors meds always look up the information on side effects, get a physicians guide, they are well worth it. Then outway the benefits and the costs.
