I need the recipe to No-Hunger Bread. I got it on naturalcures.com for free a couple of years ago and have bought several of Kevin's books but recently tried to find it on his site again and discovered that you have to have a paid subscription to his website now. I really cannot afford that and don't think that is fair either.
If anyone has this recipe, please send it to me, I need it for my husband a couple of friends.
Thank you and God bless,

You're welcome-yes, I actually really do like it. It's a little sweet, but I only eat small squares at a time and it is "good" carbs (as opposed to others) and gives a good carbo boost and appetite squelcher. I drink it with lots of water, well, I normally drink a lot of water. LOL. It DOES really help me with hunger cravings, especially when I don't have the time or energy to cook or make something on the fly. I'm sure everyone's taste-buds vary, so you could also start out maybe by doing half the recipe and see if you like it? That way you don't spend as much money on the first batch until you know. Let me know how it goes!! Best of luck!
Awesome, thanks!! I will give it a shot. I did the other one someone recommended on that guy's site, but I substituted a few things and didn't put in enough flour because there were two conflicting amounts, but it was just ok.

I copied this one but then found a web site that has one without so much sugar. he charges $7.00 for it though. Says he uses dates instead of all the sugar, molasses, & honey. I tried to get the recipe but couldn't complete the transaction. Here's the web site. www.aceguru.com
Good Luck, Lucy
The recipes/article I found on the web below

The Hunza “No Hunger” Bread recipe:
3/4 cup (177.5 ml) of UNBLEACHED all purpose white flour OR Spelt if allergic to wheat.
1 teaspoon (4.9 ml) baking powder.
(best to use non aluminum baking powder from a health food store)
1 cup (236.6 ml) pitted whole dates, chopped. (buy already chopped – no need for
real/whole dates..)
1 cup (236.6 ml) pecans (or walnuts), chopped
3 eggs, well beaten.
1/4 cup (59.2 ml) water
WE ADD:
1 Teaspoon of Cinnamon
¼ teaspoon of Nutmeg
and sometimes add orange peels
or Cranberries … or Cranberry/Orange from Trader Joes
or dried blue berries
Place the oven on “Bake”.
Warm the oven to 350 degrees F (176.6 C).
Place flour in a bowl, add the baking powder (nutmeg and cinnamon) to the flour and mix with a whisk.
Add the 1/4 cup (59.2 ml) of water to the eggs and thoroughly whisk the egg and
the water mix, at least 2 minutes (if by hand).
Add the flour and baking powder mixture into the beaten egg and water
mixture and stir thoroughly.
Add the chopped dates and chopped pecans (etc.) to the flour, baking powder,
egg and water mixture and thoroughly stir all of the ingredients together.
Pour the mixed ingredients into a lightly greased 4x8x3 inch (101.5x203x76 mm) loaf pan.
When the oven reaches 350 degrees F (176.6 C) place the pan in the oven and bake for
35 minutes (we do it for 30 minutes since our oven cooks hotter).
Remove the pan from the oven.
Remove the Hunza Bread from pan. Let the bread cool. Slice and enjoy.
The Hunza Diet Bread loaf will be about 2 1/2 inches (63.4 mm) high and the size of the pan. Since the Hunza Bread is so easy to prepare we keep the recipe small so that it is always fresh. Be generous with each slice for the first week or two. Drink a glass of water after eating the bread. As your appetite abates you will automatically make the slices thinner.
• In the morning, we cut two ½ inch slices & toast them and add a wee bit of butter! YUM!

We like the bonus aspect grayed out below
Following is the unique and fabulous
HUNZA DIET BREAD RECIPE:

(WE USE 3/4 cup instead of the above)
1 teaspoon baking powder.
3 eggs, well beaten.
1/4 cup water
1 cup pitted whole dates, chopped.
1 cup pecans or walnuts, chopped.
(WE add 1 teaspoon of Cinnamon and ¼ teaspoon of Nutmeg)
In a bowl add the flour and baking powder and mix with a whisk.
In a separate bowl thoroughly whisk the egg and water mixture for at least 2 minutes.
Add both wet and dry mixtures together mixing well.
Mix the chopped dates and pecans into above mixture.
Pour the ingredients into a lightly greased 4x8x3 inch loaf pan.
Bake at 350 degrees for (30 for our oven) to 35 minutes.
Bonus ingredients to experiment with: Try adding dried orange or lemon peel. (Grate it then put in a food dehydrator or low temp oven) You can also add coconut or crushed pineapple. I have fun making it a little different each week. You can experiment with different kinds of flour and nuts. I prefer the non aluminum baking powder from a health food store. Notice no sugar is added!

You can lose weight effectively with the
HUNZA DIET BREAD
Be generous with each slice for the first week or two. Drink a full glass of water before and after eating the bread. As your appetite abates you will automatically make the slices thinner.
Each slice of bread is only about 100 calories.
Eat 1 slice every 4 hours of the 16 hours you're awake. That's 4 slices which total 400 calories. This is the fastest way to lose weight I know of. It works faster than any high protein diet. Why? You have more energy and burn more calories. Second, the high fiber bread keeps your digestive system regular. Third, your body stays healthy. A healthy body means a properly functioning metabolic system.
Plan B: Eat a slice of HUNZA DIET BREAD 10 minutes before you eat your regular meal. When we do this we eat only a fraction, such as 1/4 of what we would normally eat. If we wait longer than 10 minutes we don't want to eat at all.
You will feel better and look better after you start eating this bread.
We hope you enjoy this delicious and healthful bread and that it helps you to achieve your objectives.
Thank you!

MISC. PLANS:
There are many ways to lose weight with HUNZA DIET BREAD. Here are some typical plans. Each slice of bread is about 100 calories.
Plan A: Eat 1 slice every 4 hours of the 16 hours you're awake.
Plan B: Really gorge yourself with the bread. Two slices every four hours for a total of 8 slices but only 800 calories. You'll feel full all day. In fact, I doubt many people could eat this much of the bread.
Plan C: For your first meal bake one or two red potatoes for sixty minutes in a 400 degree F (204.4 C) oven. Add butter or Canola margarine to your potatoes. Eat three dates and a fresh fruit. Eat two slices of your Hunza Diet Bread four hours later. At dinner you will eat a great deal less.
Plan D: Eat a slice of HUNZA DIET BREAD 10 minutes before you eat your regular meal. When we do this we eat only a fraction, such as 1/4 of what we would normally eat. If we wait longer than 10 minutes we don't want to eat at all.
Plan E: Eat the bread at the end of meals that don't fill you up enough, such as low calorie meals. This is a perfect way to use the bread. You eat a low calorie meal, enjoy it, then eat a slice or two of bread to fill you up. Perfect! No suffering and no urge to snack.
Plan F: Alternate Plan A, B, C, D. We recommend an alternation of the plans. Some of the people who just want to get the weight off as soon as possible will use Plan A exclusively.
For instance, as a housewife it's harder to diet because you have to prepare food for the family. Eat your bread exactly 2 hours before preparing a meal. That way when you prepare the meal you are in the 3rd hour where food just doesn't hold any interest. No way are you tempted to nibble or taste.
You will feel better and look better after you start eating this bread.
We hope you enjoy this delicious and healthful bread and that it helps you to achieve your objectives.
(History of the bread?)
A Bread Recipe That Taste Great and Can Help You Lose Weight!
HUNZA DIET BREAD is a bread That Miraculously Stops Your Appetite And Hunger and is based on a 2000 year old recipe said to beat all fad diets hands down. It's the fastest, and totally painless way to lose weight.
By Mary Travis,
Special feature writer
(Canfield, OH)
Is there a painless way for people to lose weight? Yes! HUNZA DIET BREAD is being hailed as the weight loss method of the century. The bread is a duplicate of a 2,000-year-old recipe used by the little known civilization of Hunza.
The Hunzas are considered to be the healthiest people on earth. Their bread is the main part of their diet. This bread is absolutely delicious. Everybody loves it. But then a startling discovery was made. Just one or two slices of this bread would suppress a person's appetite for 4 to 6 hours! Could this be a designed bread invented thousands of years ago?
There are facts being uncovered that support a theory that this bread was designed in ancient times for the express purpose of tiding people over when food supplies were scarce. Let's start with the Hunzas who are exceptionally trim, fit and the healthiest people on earth. Many consider their bread to be one of the main reasons for the extraordinary health of the Hunzas.
Here is a little background of the Hunzas from a feature story which has been published in many major newspapers throughout North America. This is an excerpt from the article:
"The Hunzas exist isolated from the rest of the world in the Himalayan Mountains where they live to be 110 to 120 years of age. They have no cancer, heart attacks or other major disorders to speak of. They are active and fit to the end of their lives. Men father children at 100 years of age and older. Overweight people are unheard of because they have the perfect weight control system."
The story then relates research and fact finding visits to Hunza by such notables as Queen Elizabeth, Art Linkletter, N.B.C., The National Geographic Magazine, Frank Shor, Lowell Thomas Jr. and Chou En Lai of China. Visitors to Hunza all came back with the same identical description of the Hunza people:
"Hunza men are straight, tall, broad-shouldered, deep-chested, slim- waisted, heavy-legged and have full heads of hair. Hunza women are straight, tall, slim-waisted, developed bosoms, perfect complexions and luxuriant hair. Both men and women have perfect teeth and eyesight even at 100 years of age and older! They are neat, clean, intelligent and friendly and you can't find an overweight person.
Hunza women at 80 look no older than North American women of 40. Fatigue is virtually unknown. Hunza men over 90 years old repeatedly walk the mountain trail of 65 miles from the town of Gilgit with a full pack and immediately start to work in the fields again!"
We feel that the Hunza bread may be "by design" both a hunger suppressant and a super health food. It is a simple, nutritious bread that is easily prepared in just 5 minutes using a few ingredients that have always been universally available and the taste is wonderful.
The Hunzas were originally soldiers of Alexander the Great. This bread may have been designed for the use of his far traveling armies. It would make sense. It's the most compact form of hunger satisfaction and nutrition we know of. According to traces of Macedonian Heritage, this bread could have originated in Egypt over 5,000 years ago. As you know, the Egyptians were capable of doing many things that modern science cannot, even today, duplicate.
We are convinced that the Hunza bread is one of the major reasons for the good health of the Hunzas.
Both my husband and I started using the bread as a weight loss device and began losing weight consistently, much faster than any weight loss method we ever tried, and, we have tried them all believe me. Exactly how does the HUNZA DIET BREAD compare to some of the fad diets such as liquid protein?
There's no comparison. Fad diets are not only ineffective, they may be downright dangerous. When I say they are ineffective I mean; that either a person will not stick with them because they are uncomfortable or when the diet is over they'll put the weight right back on. Because bread is part of our culture this diet is never over. HUNZA DIET BREAD becomes our bread substitute not only because it helps control our weight but because it is so delicious and easy to prepare.
All of us lifetime dieters know of the miseries of the high protein and liquid protein (or milkshake) diets. They seem okay for the first few days, then they become repulsive. You get "full" on these diets but not satisfied. Let me tell you about the advantages of HUNZA DIET BREAD. The biggest benefit I can think of is that the dieter just doesn't suffer AT ALL! It's such a natural and powerful appetite inhibitor. This bread is not only healthful and delicious but you will appreciate its simplicity and lack of extraneous ingredients.
This bread satisfies both appetite and hunger. And it does it with only 100 calories as effectively as most 1800 calorie full meals.
We define appetite and hunger like this: appetite is mainly the desire you get for food even when you know you're really not hungry. It's that craving in your mouth you get that's known as the cold mouth feeling. It can also be present even though you've just eaten. Your stomach may be full but you still crave something else. This is the feeling you get with a protein diet. You can stuff yourself with protein until you're ready to burst but the cold mouth craving is still there.
Hunger on the other hand is best described as those pangs of hunger you get or that empty feeling in your stomach that lets you know you really need to eat something rather than simply wanting to eat for the enjoyment of it.
After a slice or two of HUNZA DIET BREAD you eliminate both appetite and hunger. You feel satisfied and full and it lasts, depending on the person, up to 7 hours. For me it lasts 5 to 7 hours.
Not only is the bread nutritional, but it contains some proven good health producing roughage or fiber. It passes through your digestive system quickly so the actual absorbed calories are less. You also become very regular eating this bread and it tastes better than any bread that we've ever eaten.
Now, here's what its like hour by hour after you eat the bread.
Hour 1 and 2. Each minute after you finish eating the bread seems like a build-up of a "fullness" feeling. It's just as though you have kept on eating. You keep getting fuller and fuller. Both your appetite and hunger are very satisfied. You don't crave anything more.
Hour 3. In hour 3 something else happens. The thought of food just doesn't appeal to you. It's not an unpleasant experience, quite the opposite. But, you don't have a desire for food in any way, shape or form.
Hour 4. You no longer have a feeling of being stuffed or turned off by the thought of eating, but there's a kind of nothing feeling. You don't want to eat, and you don't crave anything. It's just as I said, a sort of comfortable "nothing" stage.
Hour 5 through 7. Toward the end of the 5th hour you begin to get mildly hungry which then slowly increases into the 6th and 7th hour.
All of this for only the cost of 100 to 200 calories .You can't get that performance out of an 1800 calorie meal.
You will feel better and look better after you start eating this bread. When you take a bite of the HUNZA DIET BREAD the delicious taste of the bread fills your mouth. You can tell that it is hearty, full of substance, chewy and good for you. Perhaps our bodies trigger an instinct that lets us know what's good or bad for us.
I made this bread today using the smaller recipe. It turned out great and both myself and my husband really like it.I hope that we can lose weight using this. It is much more pleasant than any "diet" food I have had before.Wish us luck, I will keep you posted on our progress! Thanks

Hey! Cool!! More recipes! I just had a piece of my bread and was thinking about the taste and consistency. With the original recipe with the 4lbs of flour and all the honey and molasses, yes - you would totally have to be able to tolerate the taste of molasses in order to enjoy this bread. I guess if you don't care for molasses but want to try the bread anyway, you can get the really light molasses. The darker it is, the stronger the flavor so maybe with the light stuff it wont be that strong?? hmmm..
Also, I went "by the book" errrr...website.. on cooking mine. 300 degrees for 1 hour, 90 degrees for 2 hours. I think though that cooking it slower and longer might be better.
That recipe ^ up there with all the dates and stuff sounds pretty good. I'm going to try it next time.
As for using this for weight loss, I weigh myself on fridays only so tomorrow will be my starting point to see just how much weight can be lost on a weekly basis eating pretty much just this bread. I know I can do it for a week. Any longer though and I am gonna totally freak out for a cheeseburger or some fajitas or something spicy!!!
I will definitely report if there is a drastic weight change. :)
I've been so busy getting things done outside while the weather is good that I hadn't had time to get back in here. Guess it is time for an update. :)
I used the original recipe of the bread. The flour, molasses, honey, oil, spices and sugar. I cut them into 2 x 2 squares. I haven't been able to eat JUST the bread tho. My willpower isn't that strong. I can say I am NOT hungry at all after eating them. Its just the cravings for something else that drive me to other foods. Good news is, when it comes to eating the other foods, I don't crave huge amounts of carbs or anything sweet.
I go for salads, lean meat and soups. Typically I will eat 1 hunza bread square for breakfast and lunch and then eat a sensible dinner. I also drink a lot of water. I am absolutely NOT hungry between meals.
I have lost 3 lbs in 3 weeks which was kind of surprising as I thought for sure I would have lost a bit more weight. I was a little disappointed.
But then I checked my measurements. NOW I'm feeling better about things. I've lost 2 inches on my bust, 3 on my waist, 2 on my hips, 1 1/2 on my thighs, maybe 1/2 on my arms and 1 1/2 on my calfs. I guess thats an improvement. I'll continue to measure maybe every 3 weeks.
I think the reason I haven't lost a lot of actual pounds is because I am walking and doing weight training so may be adding muscle while losing fat and since muscle weighs more than fat.... hmmm, well - its my only theory. lol.
WOW, that is great! 1 lb a week is fine - better to lose slowly and keep it off.
I went to that other site and got the recipe for $7 after all - it was the same receipe that was posted above without the sugar and molassas, but was 1 1/4 cups of flour (NOT WHITE) and the post had a remark "I used 3/4 cup" so I mistakenly used 3/4 cup in mine today.
It was not that bad, but I didn't have prunes so I used cranberries (dried). I also did not have cinnamon (too bad) Tasty, not sure it's the right diet bread though because in Kevin's book the guy went on about the honey in it having some sort of magical weight loss properties when mixed with the other stuff and the baking at a low temperature was another reason it worked. THis bread is only baked for 35 minutes. I am not really sure if it does the same thing.
I will try the other one, but I am surprised at all the sugar in it!!
Honestly, if I were to make the bread again using the original recipe with the all natural buckwheat flour, honey, molasses and sugar etc... I would use light molasses so the flavor isn't so intense and I would leave out the 1 1/2 C of sugar completely. I really don't see why it needs it.
Then again, I may bake it without the sugar and find out why it DOES need it...lol. But really, I think it is quite sweet enough without it. To each his own, I think.
And you're right about losing weight slowly. Its better for you. I can so see a difference though and thats why I want to keep up with this. I feel better, I look better and my energy has not wavered or gone completely by the wayside like it usually does with regular diets.
