I was wondering if anyone knew how i could find a practitioner that would be able to help with crohns in my area or near it it would be great if someone could help me out.
Kevin, I'm not sure how big Huntsville is but you could Google or check the yellow pages for a naturopathic doctor or an oriental medicine doctor or a herbalist. May I also suggest going to a large health food store where some of the employees (like a manager or the owner) would know of somebody that they can refer you to. I live in a small town near Daytona Beach and I've had to broaden my search to Orlando area for some things. Maybe someone else in this community will have some more info for you.
There is a book that i read from a dr that cured himsel from that disease. He makes natural products for a bunch of diseases, his namr is Dr.Rubin.. look it up in the internet and e-mail him
Hey Kevin,
The best thing you could is arm your body with the proper nutrients. Judging by your condition, i would recomend something in a liquid form that has a High Absorbtion Rate. You could check these out at PDR (Physcians Desk Reference). I would also advise taking some type of probiotics. If you uses them together, i can assure you you will be on your road to wellness. You should check out my blogs, There are some great products in there, everything i use is straight out of Kevin Trudeau's book. Let me know what you think.
Good Luck
And Always Blessings to ALL
I used to have Crohn's. Now, miraculously, I don't - completely gone.
I suggest that you find a practitioner who won't put you on 'drugs'. You need to find the cause of the Crohn's.
The cause of my Crohn's was that my whole body was saturated with mercury - from my teeth fillings! Mercury
is not easily eliminated from the body, so just sits in the bowel, causing huge problems.
To find out, I had a heavy metal toxicity test - hair and saliva.
Ask whether you can be tested for other toxins through hair and saliva.
Then, go on an intense detox, under the guidance of an experienced medically trained naturopath.
Apart from the discovery and detoxing of the mercury, I found that the following helped me:
* Lots of bifidus (Metagenics is good quality) - I had 12 teaspoons in pure cold water (Evian) when I was in hospital - it got me improving heaps!
* Drink an absolute minimum 8 cups of pure water daily.
* Eat certified organic raw foods and lots of green smoothies (see Victoria Boutenko's book 'Green For Life')
* Eat certified organic or biodynamic yoghurts (for good gut bacteria)
* Drink lots of vegetable juices (to get your liver detoxing) e.g. carrot, beetroot, celery and potato. Really yuk to taste,
but very helpful. When I had just come out of hospital, my naturopath (before identifying the mercury aspect) had me
drinking a minimum of 6 white cabbage juices per day (it reduces inflammation).
