Does anyone need any sound advice about mixing or adm hCG?
If anyone needs some sound advice about how to do this safely. Let me know. I am an RN and I may be able to help as I do this stuff everyday at work. After reading many of the previous messages I can see that there is a huge need for sound advice. Some of the messages I have read really concerns me. Once again (ihave repeated this numeous times in my other replies) my advice comes as a friend not a nurse due to potential liability. I would rather see you all do it safely. Remember Anna Nicole? She developed a sever infection due to improper injection technique which started a chain of events that lead to her death. Please be safe.

Hi Lynette,
I follow this thread and saw your post. I thought you started your injections last week no? What dose did you decide on using ? Just FYI, you CAN inject IM with an insulin needle IF you do not have alot of fat layer on top of the muscle. I used 5/8" or 1/2 needles and injected into my thigh right into the muscle. No sweat.
Let me know how you're doing. I'm just finished my first week in Phase 3. Holding steading at LIW. Yippee!

I do not understand why you want to increase your dose since you are effectively loosing????? The first week you will lose the most weight, and then it tapers off to about a lb a day. I think the "regulator" of you dose should be whether or not you are feeling hunger. SOME people do better on less iu's. If everything is going well, why change your dose? Did I miss something? More is not necessarily better. Many people lose weight fine on 125iu's.

Yes, I heard that people still lose on lower doses. Remember Dr S. protocol calls for 125iu's. I realize though, that you are injecting SQ most of the time and maybe you do need a higher dose, but since you injected IM sometimes....you probably did NOT. I think you sort of can be a chemist and listen carefully to your own body. If you're not hungry and losing, then leave things alone. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. If you experience hunger, try increasing the dose for day. If it goes away you're good, if you're still hungry, drop the dose and see what happens. I have heard of people trying to inject higher dose and finding it actually makes them hungry so they reduce it and feel less hungry. It can go the opposite as well. Everyone is different. I just would be less concerned with the number of pounds..you're losing and that's the goal.

hey kim, i am starting tommorrow, do you know how to convert ml to cc. I have 2000 amps, want to do around 175 injections, i will mix it with 10cc bac water, how many ml. do i inject? Any advice??

1ml = 1cc
175iu dose /2000iu hcg x 10 ml bac water = .88 ml dose

ok, help me out here,i want to double check that i did this right. I mixed one 2000 amp. with 5.5 ml. of bac water and injected .5 ml. In your calculations what does this work out to be?

HI AJ. I can't believe you didn't receive any instructions with your order. If I were you, I'd call them and ask them to fax you a copy of the mixing instructions.
I'm not sure you typed your ingredients correctly .....seems like you should have had a sterile vial for injecting the mixture into included. Check what you typed and see if I'm right.
Yes 10,000 units is enought for 250iu dose daily. The large needle would be for mixing the hcg and extracting it from its tiny vial and into the sterile vial. The small needkles sound like you are doing SQ injections as opposed to IM, unless you have little body fat, its hard to hit muscle with short needles.

Hi kimmiestuff, yes I check"d my ingredients and that's all that is there, I called my place this a.m. and ask about the diff. needles, insulin, or t.b.needles and was told to do fat injections (SQ)? not muscle, but the pharmacist said to do muscle, so I don't know what the HEY , there isn't any mixing vessel in there thats what stumped me, the nurse where I call'd said I put bac water into hcg vial and withdraw the dissolved solution, how does this work, wont all of the hcg get wet once I put in the bacwater! And about the body fat I have plenty, heehee, but speaking with Pharmacist again he just finished and said he used the side of his thigh, so how much fat can be there, with these short needles? My legs are pretty muscular, not MUCH fat on them, especially on the outer thigh, he said find center of thigh and go 2 inches down to outer thigh, is this right? I f this doesn't make since, I would be grateful, if you would want to call me or visa versa, either way, AND Thank you,

SQ is into fat yes, but if you hit muscle on your thigh its no big deal except that 250 iu might be higher dose than you need for IM. Maybe not, everyone is different and you will be able to tell by how hungry or not you are whether or not to adjust your dose. When you called, did you ask them what you are supposed to put the mixed hcg into? You didn't mention it, so I'm guessing not.
The info the nurse gave u sounds right. And of course you want it "wet" silly, how else would you inject it??????
So you'd inject about 1ml/cc (same thing) of bac water into the hcg vial and swirl to mix. Then withdraw all of the hcg mixture and inject into the bac water bottle (since you have no other vessel). Its been said that storing in plastic is not optimal, but since you don't have anything else, I guess its ok...OR call them back and ask, OR order one and wait to start. It is not clear to me from what you typed if you actually have TWO bottles of bac water or not. If so, what sizes did they send you? I hope you are not confusing "serum" that is sometimes sent with hcg with bac water (you said " 1 bottle of bacteriostatic water for mixing"). You don't want to use the tiny serum bottle to mix. That is for one shot dose for infertility issues.
So the formula is this:
250iu dose (or whatever dose you are doing, just insert your number here)
divided by the amount of hcg iu's
x amount of bw u are using
= the amount to inject
example:
250 iu dose \ 10,000 iu hcg x 30 ml bac water = .75ml/cc injection
that means you will have about 22.5 injections from this hcg.
Now, you said u thought this was enough hcg for 40 + injections right? Not if they only sent you one 30ml bottle of water.
Like I suggested originally, you should call them and ask for the specific mixing instructions. Normally this would be included. AND ask what items you were supposed to receive, specifically a sterile vial. Re-check your box to be sure you didn't miss anything. My sterile vials came wrapped in bubble wrap and had I not been expecting them, could easily mistaken it for box filler.

Forgive my ignorance, but don't you get 40 doses if you have .75ml/cc injections. After all, 30ml/cc divided by .75ml/cc equals 40. I'm new to this so I don't know.
