have been oil pulling for 10 days- amazed at the feel and whitening of teeth. My sinuses started to drain within two days, by the fifth mucuus started come from lungs. Didn't know I was congested. I am sleeping much better and am aware of more energy. I use sunflower oil (it is suggested that sunflower or sesame works better than other oils). I have also started taking coconut oil. - buy certified organic virgin oil - try to take a teaspoon full 2 or 3 times per day. Have also purchased a cheaper coconut oil for cooking, though I don't eat a lot of fried food. I am thrilled with the results. Realized yesterday that puffiness in my fingers has gone. Have some psoriasis and do believe it is improving. Altogether I am thrilled with the combination of oil pullilng and coconut oil. I know that coconut oil is said to help weight loss, but that is not one of my issues. Happy oil pulling!!
Well, I'm not sure about the strawberry part, but I have been using a toothpaste composed of baking soda and oregano. I bought this at: www. drclarkstore.com. Seems to be doing a nice job cleaning my teeth. Plus, there is the comfort in knowing that there are no nasty chemicals in it.
Cayce: Google 'oilpullling' and you will find many good sites. Try www.oilpulling.com - one of many good links. I also found another describing results from over a thousand 'oil pullers' in India and the extraordinary results. Use sunflower or sesame oil - First thing in morning before food or drink, put oil in mouth and swish it around - suck through teeth - not vigorously. Read the paper, do the dishes, cook breakfast, whatever. I did it for 5 minutes first day, now have no trouble doing it for the recommended 15 to 20 minutes. It draws toxins from the body. Spit out what is now a white liquid and clean mouth well of all that bacteria. Rinse thoroughly, clean teeth, etc. I have had excellent results in the 10 days I have been doing it. You'll not regret it. Valerie
