Mixing instructions

In easy terms: If you have 1000IU and want 200 IU doses you divide: 1000/200 = 5 doses. At 1cc volume per dose you would add 5cc/ml of the bc water to make 5 – 1cc/ml doses. Draw 5cc/ml b/c water and put 4 into a sterile vile and then put the remaining 1 cc/ml into the hcg ampoule, swirl it, then draw it out and put it into the sterile vile along with the 4cc/ml previously put in there. Every morning draw out 1cc/ml of hCG and inject.

This is the simple process. Here is how it is all broken down:

NOTE: When mixing, be prepared to change the needle in case it touches ANYTHING not sterile. For myself, using 1500 IU ampoules, I mix 2 ampoules at a time to make my vials last longer, but I never mix more than 2 weeks worth.

So, do the math: how much hcg is in each ampoule? How many IUs do you want per dose?
hcg ampoule / IUs per dose = doses per ampoule
(1500 / 175 = 8.5 OR 1500 / 200 = 7.5 OR 5000 / 175 = 28.5 OR 5000 / 200 = 25)
Everything in these instructions will reflect a dose of 200 IUs.

I like to use .5cc/ml for each dose, so I use only half the amount of sterile water (10 doses would be 5cc/ml water). But be careful drawing out for injections because it is easy to get a tiny bit too much and you will short yourself at the end! I typically add .5cc extra water for every 1500 IU ampoule I am mixing. 5000 IU ampoule: 25 doses @ .5cc each = 12.5cc water + 1cc extra. 1500 IU ampoule * 2 (I always do 2 at a time): 15 doses @ .5cc each = 7.5cc water + 1cc extra.(You get the idea?) (With 1cc insulin syringe can mix: 5000IU with 5cc (plus .5 for bumper) for 25 doses, 200 IUs each, .2cc injection.)

Once you know how many doses per ampoule and how large you want each injection (1cc vs. .5cc vs. .2cc), figure how much total sterile water you need. Write it down so you don’t forget in the middle of mixing :) Now that you have the numbers (including any extra as mentioned above if that is what you decide to do), we can begin mixing:

Have these items laid out in order on a freshly sanitized counter top (have plenty of lighting):

• HCG ampoules and Alcohol wipes for each
• Bacteriostatic water and alcohol wipe
• Sterile glass vial and alcohol wipe
• 10cc syringe w/ long needle (18-20 gauge is perfect for mixing)
• new needle (set aside – in case of contamination)
• extra wipes – just in case

1 – Glass hcg ampoule: Wipe with alcohol wipe, cover top with opened wipe wrapper, and using pressure with thumb snap quickly away from you to break the narrow neck. (you should practice FIRST, opening the water ampoules that come with your hcg, as they will be thrown out anyway) Set the open ampoules away from you so they will not be disturbed or knocked over.

2 - Swab the top of the large bacteriostatic water vial AND the top of a new sterile GLASS vial with alcohol wipes.

3 - Using a 10cc syringe w/ long needle- draw out all sterile water you need. (if you must, draw twice, as long as you end up with the total cc/ml you need).

4 – Inject enough sterile water into each HCG ampoule to dissolve powder (slowly down the side). About ¼” in the little glass ampoule is all you need. DO NOT let the needle touch anything but the inside of the ampoule. If it does, replace the needle before the next step.

6 - Inject remaining sterile water into the new Glass vial. (to prevent pressure or vacume, use an in/out method: water in – air out – water in – air out until all water is in the vial and the same volume air is in the syringe)

7 - Swish the liquid slowly in the HCG ampoule until it is all dissolved (Never shake it).

8 – Using the same syringe/needle draw out all the liquid HCG. If your needle isn’t long enough to reach the bottom, you will need to carefully tip the ampoule and finish drawing right at the opening.

9 - Inject the liquid HCG into the prepared glass vial. Make sure you draw out the same volume of air so there is no pressure or vacume in the glass vial of hcg.

10 – Each morning draw out 1 dose for daily injection.

TIP: Once you have finished mixing, BEFORE the needle touches anything unsterile, cover the needle with the sheath. Pull needle off the syringe and holding the plastic end of the needle, pull the sheath off again. Barely poke the needle back into the vial so the tip is in the air, not the liquid. This will allow the air pressure to equalize and you will not have trouble drawing your daily doses out. When drawing out doses, remember to always first inject 1cc of air, then draw out 1cc hcg liquid (or .5cc or .2cc if that is what you are using)

Hi Grammasmitty,
I am starting my second round of phase II but today I received my next order of hcg and it came in glass bottles without rubber tops. I'm hoping you have had some experiences with these and can help me figure out how to open them correctly. I tried to snap off the top but ended up shattering the glass. I would hate to waste any more of the hcg by future failed attempts.
Help from anyone would be greatly appreciated.

Oops I just read your post more closely. I'll practice on the water amps and see if I can't get it right. However, I'm a bit confused about the water/in - air/out method.
Thanks for all the great information for us beginners.

Glad you found the note to practice! :-D There is usually a little dot on the top of the ampoule that indicates the weak point in the lbass nicek. It is usually easier to snap your ampoule, so your thumbs are on the back side of that and snap away from you.

The air out/water in tip:
The vials usualy have some pressure already in them when you begin to mix your hcg. If you try to inject 5cc of air into the vial that alyrady has pressure, you will find it most difficult to add even more. So you need to push a little liquid in, draw a little air out, until you hvae all the liquid in the vial and the same amount of air in the syrings.

Thanks. I'll give the it a try when I mix my next batch. If you don't mind I have another question for you. It appears that you have been on this protocol more than once. Did you always wait the full six weeks before repeating phase II. And did you have two gorge days before starting phase II again? I'm anxious to start again and I'm only on week 4 of phase III, I'm also hesitant to gorge, I'm afraid it will bring back old habits.

I have done 5 rounds of phase 2 and lately have waited only 1-2 weeks between rounds. As long as you are feeling good and losing well, there is no reason to stop or wait. Just jump back in when you are ready! I also hvae not worried about a gorge unless I've gone more than 2 weeks. And even then I don't really gorge, but just eat well for a couple of days.

Great! I was hoping to hear that I didn't have to wait. Thanks for you help.

Hi there. I am in desperate need of help or at least some advise. I totally blew it this weekend. You name it, I ate it and now I am up 5 lbs. I am on my second round of phase II but have not been very stict this time around (obviously) but I have never gone this overboard. I was just wondering if I should continue with the hcg and try to take the extra weight back off or should I discontinue the hcg until I get my act back together? I'm having a harder time sticking to the vlcd - maybe I should have taken a longer break during phases??? I'd appreciate any words of wisdom.

It all depends on how you feel about everything. If you can get focused on the diet and move forward with it, I'd say keep on keepin' on! But if you just can't get it together, there is no reason to waste the hcg. Keep it in your frig and it will stay good for several weeks until you are ready to jump back on again. There are times that we just can't seem to get it together to do it. DO NOT give yourself a guilt trip!!!!! Just wait until you are ready and do it again!
