Natural cleaning Products and Recipes

I use mostly Seventh Generation cleaning products and Citrsolve which work pretty well. I make my own furniture polish using olive oil, vinegar and lemon oil. What do you guys use? Im looking for a good alternative to stain remover for clothes! My DS is always staining his clothes and the naturla detergant I use just doesn't get the job done! I don't want to use bleach if I can help it! What other alternatives can I try and what cleaners do you guys use! Oh, and I use mostly hot water and vinegar on my hardwood floors! Is this ok?

Michelle,

What do you use the first recipe for? I try to only disinfect with vinegar or if at all! I found some enzymatic stain remover today called Bac Out By I think Biopure! Have you ever used the citrasolve? It's a cleaner made from delimonene (The juice from orange peels) and works as a great disolver!

Hey Cayce! I've been using Bac-out for a couple of weeks and really like it. It does help get stains out and will be great when you get started with CD's. :)

Heather,

Just bought some of the Bac-out to try! My DS is always getting his clothes stained when outside playing! Hoping to start CDing soon! It just feels like an almost impossible goal that I have...but I know it will not be long until i can start!

Michelle,

Sorry...I was thinking of the brand called Biokleen! That is the one I bought! I do want to try the Biopure though! I don't think there is another cleaner on the market that cleans with good bacteria! Very unique! Hope to try that soon!

Michelle,

I think it's a brilliant idea! I also have seen probiotic soaps and lotions! Dr. Ohirra actually has a soap and a lotion like this! How long does one bottle of the biopure last you? I might try some soon! BTW, I promise I will make an order soon for the Miessence products...I've just had to be more patient in waiting to do so. Waiting on more finances! But I do love the products and will be using many of them!

Michelle,

Do you use it to clean just about everything? I have to ask you something! Why don't they carry the miessence products in healhfood stores or is it farely new and most don't know about it! It would be really neat if they had it easily available in the health food stores...especially the beauty products. Are they working on getting these products on the shelf...I so think they should. Also, how long do you think the In-Liven would last my almost two year old if I got him started on it. I noticed it was $70.00 so im thinking that size of a container would last him several months!

Michelle,

I will look into trying some soon! Im also going to bring up the Miessence to my local healthfood stores! I wanted to ask you since I've heard this from Mercola....is peroxide ok to disinfect with in cleaning?
Michelle,

I was just wandering...I know that clorox, etc is bad because it kills ALL the germs! So, in the end we are helping to create SUPER BUGS! Im hoping the vinegar is killing only what I want it to kill and not ALL the bacteria!

Michelle,

I really only use the vinegar and use the hydrogen peroxide on surfaces during the cold and flu season like on the door handles, phone, etc. I don't like killing all the good guys. LOL! Most of the time though, I usually only use soap and hot water to clean my countertops, etc.

Michelle,

Could I use the piopure on my hardwood floors as well?

Michelle,

Thanks, I'll have to try it...especially for my hardwood floors. Haven't found much out there that I can use on my wood floors that cleans well and will purify at the same time!
