I'd like to call on the expertise of this group as to what I need to have in my "natural cures medicine cabinet" and how I should use it. Right now I have hydrogen peroxide and oil of oregano .... pathetic I know! I'd like suggestions for summer as well ... bugbites, sunburn, etc. Thanks to everyone in advance!!
I have only used it twice but it worked great both times - joint pain in the elbow.
I should mention that there are two side effects but if you are in pain - I think they can be tolerated. The first is if you have sensitive skin, there may be a temporary rash at the point of application with itching. The second is that for most people they will get a garlic breath for a while.
Have you seen this new line of oregano oil based products for kids....made with p-73 oreagno oil and made in a way that is desireable for kids. It's a whole line of those products created by Dr. Cass Ingram! Check out the link! Im thinking about getting a few of these to keep in the medicine cabnet for my son.

Wow, Cayce -- they have quite a line of children's products. The regular oil of oregano is sooooooo hard to get him to take .... you know how horrible it tastes. I will certainly be ordering from this site (and a few of their products are on vitacost.com as well .... maybe cheaper?) Thanks!!!
Turmeric is one a the best antiseptic nature has provided us. In the Ayurvedic medicine, turmeric is thought to have many medicinal properties and many in India use it as a readily available antiseptic for cuts and burns. Whenever there is a cut or a bruise, the home remedy is to reach for turmeric powder. Ayurvedic doctors say it has fluoride which is thought to be essential for teeth. It is also used as an antibacterial agent. You can read about the other treatments for which turmeric is used.
Hope you like the article.
Take care.

I knew you'd have something to add, Swati! I've added the site to my favorites .. so much information. I had no idea curcumin was the active ingredient in turmeric ... should be good for pain as well then. Thanks, Swati!
