Coconut oil

Has anyone tried Coconut oil to fight candida overgrowth? How much should I take and how I can I incorporate it in my diet without having to eat it by itself....I don't like the taste : (

I use coconut oil for every thing. I coat fish with it and back it or grill it. It tastes best with full flavor coconut oil. I also use it for popcorn, it tastes great--makes the popcorn sweet.

Does anyone know about red dura palm oil, the handmaid stuff? In Kevins book it says to stay away from palm oil, I am thinking he is referring to the processed stuff that the food industry figured out could produce for pennies and poison the masses with like you see in processed packaged foods, but what about wild crafted red dura palm oil?

William I think you are probably right. I have not heard anything from anybody about the red dura palm oil. But you can bet that if it is mass produced it is full of garbage that is bad for us. If I find out anything else, I will let you know.

you can use it in cooking or almost any way you like. also use it as a skin softener. I fry my eggs with it and put it on my skin after a shower. If you like the taste of coconut put a spoon in oatmeal, it gives it a nice flavor.

coconut oil is awesome... believe it or not, I started using it to fight candida... and it's working! My daughter had a yeast infection.. within 3 days of giving it to her (using it as lotion - it is absorbed) and by the teaspoon, it was gone! I would take it at least two tablespoons a day... it is yukki by itself... but just drink something with it... or melt it a little and use a straw... I lost 3 pounds by taking coconut oil and apple cider vinegar... in a week!

I like the taste of coconut oil, Really like Spectrum brand however, if you can't acquire a taste for it, then get RAW COCONUT BUTTER instead, Artisana organic raw is excellent! I haven't done a candida cleanse [yet] but have managed to keep it almost non-exsitant by staying away from white flour, white sugar products and deep fried foods, eating mostly raw organic vegan diet and when eating meat at home, it comes from wholistic organic farms. When I eat out at [so called] conventional restaraunts I usually get a candida outbreak within 48 hours, typically athletes foot and/or foot odor. For optimum effects of raw coconut butter, do not melt it above 115F, it's the enzymes you really need with this kind of fat, heat kills them and you end up with an inferior dead food. I'll try popping corn in cocount oil, thanks Annette, been using almond oil as it tends to pop all the corn and expand it maximumally and I am addicted to popcorn...oops!

Kevin Trudeau says take 1 tblsp in morning and 1 tblsp in the late afternoon. I put it in my tea and drink it.

Thank you very much Gabraela, I wasn't aware of that and will look next time.
One of the best things you can do (or not do) for candida is "don't feed it" it loves white flour, white sugar (cane sugar in general) and the rest fo the artificial and so-called natural flavors etc, but do feed it raw wholesome foods, look up chet day on internet for an excellent raw food cleanse
