I would guess what you read about was original alka-seltzer, apple cider vinegar, and baking soda. Cranberry juice too (unsweetened), but probably helps more in prevention.

I didn't get your email till I gave up on the natural cures
but I will definitely keep all this in mind if I need it again hopefully never!!!

Glad you're feeling better. Sometimes we may need antibiotics, no reason to suffer. We just need to rebuild the good bacteria afterwards with probiotics and good foods!
I would drink pure cranberry juice regularly to help prevent them maybe for the future.

I know, I know, I walk around with the qt. plastic bottle fill with cranberry juice.
I usually drank a lot of lemonade and now looking back I'm wondering if that
could have also contributed to the infection. any thoughts any one!?!

LOL! Maybe overdoing is not good either! I don't know about the lemonade, unless it was filled with sugar, or worse - fake sugar!

Well, I did the 1 T. baking soda and 10 oz.water once every 20 min. plus cranberry juice and water between times. That helped some but I ended up with the runs. I believe in prayers and I had people pray over me. Plus I found some antibiotic and took 3 pills of
that. By the time I went to the doctor she didn't see any blood but I stillI had a lot of pain.
she did give me more antibiotic but again I'm still in alot of pain and to be truthful
with u all the only that relieves the pain is sex does that make sense!?!
I'm totally in the dark as far as health stuff goes but I did start a cleanse kinda too.
I ate fresh fruit and vegetables, for protein I had chicken and nuts. So all in all my
natural cure can not be said to be scientific answer because I just couldn't take it anymore.
thanks for everyone input but I couldn't afford the doc this time but feel I had no choice. I really would like to know if anyone else has more reliable information that I experienced.
if there really is a natural cure.
