I don't remember if Kevin Trudeau mentioned it in any of his books, but isn't this interesting: With all the drug advertising done now, we are supposed to ask our doctor if we could take such-and-such drug. It used to be the doctor that would prescribe the drug, now the "patient" is doing it!
Anybody out there read Readers' Digest? About every FIVE pages is an ad for a drug, with two pages of accompanying warnings...Some of the potential side-effects are worse than the original ailment! "If this product causes you to pass out, stop taking the product, and call your doctor..."

Yes we have been brainwashed! Before I changed my lifestyle and threw away all medications, I used to get bronchitis at least a couple times per year. I would go into the Dr and and do exactly what you said G Berry, I'd tell them what medications worked for me, they would prescribe what I asked for and I'd go home. Crazy!!! BTW, since taking control of my own health, I haven't had bronchitis in almost 2 years =)

If the drug Industry took ALL the money they paid into Advertising and the HUGE salaries and PERKS they give their DRUG REPS (Free BMW, trips to Hawaii, etc), they could drop the cost of the meds that SOME people really need, esp the elderly and poor. I know, Kevin says throw away the drugs but SOME drugs are needed for SOME people.
