Hepitatis C / Looking for Alternative to Drug Therapy
I have Hep C and cirrhosis of the liver. After learning recently that there are natural alternatives to the drug therapy I don't want to take the drug route that has been recommended if at all possible and it if it can be avoided. So, here I am, desperately seeking natural alternatives and not really even knowing where to begin. In checking www.naturalcures.com I was not able to find the recommended therapy in Kevin Trudeau's book for Hep C which calls for hydrogen peroxide therapy, homeopathics, and crocodile protein peptide.
From what the "doc" tells me, the clock is ticking. My labs are very bad; if I don't get treatment very soon I am looking at 2 years to live. Maybe 4.
If anyone has any information on a Hep C cure using natural alternatives or knows of anyone who is using or has used natural remedies or even drug therapy to cure Hep C, please, please, please let me know. Any insight that anyone has on this subject that they would share with me would be so greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry to hear about what the doctor has said. My husband was diagnosed with hep c as well and he took the interferon treatment. It got rid (for lack of a better way to say it) of most of it, but not all -- he began taking milk thistle, of course NO ALCOHOL and a good diet. he was diagnosed 8 years ago, took the interferon treatment the first year, and then did the rest of the treatment following that -- got his total first clean bill of health probably 6 months ago !!! He was markedly better each time he went in for testing after the "treatment" was over. The interferon was a tough treatment, for sure, but it knocked most of it out..... the slymarin (the active ingred in the milk thistle) is the treatment of choice in Germany, but I don't know how effective it is used alone......
You can definitely beat this, don't listen to those death sentence prognosis -- research it like you are, take EVERTHING they say will heal your liver, and spend time everyday envisioning you perfectly healthy liver functioning beautifully inside you -- and clear your mind of fear and negativity......... IF YOU HAVE STARTED THAT....YOU HAVE ALREADY BEGUN TO HEAL YOURSELF !!!!!!!!! Janet

Dear Janet, thanks so much for the words of encouragement. After doing some research I went to GNC, spoke with a very knowledgeable young man who referred me to a gentleman locally. He uses all natural remedies and has taken me on. He's analyzing my test results now. I'll have a consult with him in a week or so. I'm on my way!!! As I was leaving he said "hope I can help". My reply, "I KNOW YOU CAN". I'm really excited and know in my heart this is the answer. Thanks again. Vicki
