I am Dr. Fifield and I want to express how I appreciate the message you have given Maria and to all you see on a daily basis. Good advice is always welcomed. Knowing what to then choose so that we actually have a good diet for our body or a good exercise program, etc. is the next process everyone is faced with, because what works for one does not work for everyone. How to choose what to use and then how to correctly apply it is a huge dilemma everyone finds themselve in almost on a daily basis. As a professional there is a complete science now available to help everyone know what to choose and then how to properly apply it to themselves, which is often different than how others my do it, etc. Know how to soleve this problem is a key to achieving lasting and not just a temporary relief to what is taking place in our bodies! I would love to visit on the phone which can be found on this site: www.scienceofwellness.org - hope to hear from you soon, we have a lot in common and finding someone who we have any common things we can share is hard to come by. My all of your works be blessed with the highest and best of outcome for all whom you work with!

Hello everyone. Ive read the posts on the sinus infections. I have allergies and sinus infections all year long. And have had them for years. Its hard to deal with, and hard not to run in for an antibiotic. I dont like them at all. Im to the point where I can diagnose my own and tell my doctor what is wrong...sure enough, she says Im correct. I have been looking for alternative ways to deal with this. Right now I have a terrible cold which I get once a year for 2-4 weeks. And the sinuses are on double time now, giving me a lot of trouble. I think Im going to try some of the things you all have reccomended. Thank you for your suggestions. Its nice to know there are people here who care enough to share experiences and what has worked for them.
God bless.

Hi Lisa
Have you heard of a neti pot? It is a little pot that looks like a flattened tea pot that you fill with saline solution and put it up to one on your nostrils and tip you head letting the solution run through your sinuses. It really works. Something you might want to look into is liquid activated zeolite. It cleans our body of all heavy metals and toxins allowing it to heal itself. It has helped others clear up their sinus problem and allowed their body to build up its immunity so that they did not catch everything. Go to my page and you'll learn more or go to www.liquidzeolite.org for many testimonials. Joan
Two things, 1. Olive leaf extract nasal spray, made by Sea Gate (seagateproducts.com) will definately cure the sinus problems, oive leaf is antibacterial and antifungal both are culprits in sinus infections, I use it and love it! and 2. PROBIOTICS, ....get the gut in shape and the respiratory system will follow.........Been in your shoes, I am an asthmatic (and a respiratory therapist), have allergies and WAS prone to sinus infections. These two products are the best advice I can give, and I've tried a lot of things. If you're currently having an asthma flare up, get some powdered vitamin C, like "EmergenC" stir it up and drink it down, if it doesn't give immediate relief drink another. I usually get good relief after one or two, but my asthma is very mild. Vitamin C is a natural antihistamine so it is great for asthma that is caused by allergies, which is probably what has caused the sinus infection also. Get a good probiotic and vitamin C, at least 1000mg, (and I would take more), into your daily routine. You will boost your immune system, help your allergies and have a better winter. Hope this helps!

Denise, Your information is appreciated. I had run out of the vitamin C and just started taking it again. I hope it helps. I take 1500 - 2000 daily. Since the body gets rid of what it doesnt need. I will try some of the other things when I can afford them. Thank you.

HI LISA
I HEAR YOU ABOUT THE "WHEN I CAN AFFORD IT" THING. GO TO EARTHCLINIC WEB SITE AND LOOK UP APPLE CIDER VINAGER, MANY MANY TESTIMONIALS ON POSITIVE QUICK RESULTS FOR ALLERGIES, SINUS INFECTIONS AND ASTHMA. MY FRIEND GIVES HER 6 YR OLD ACV DAILY AND HAS NOTICED A REDUCTION IN THE NEED FOR HER INHALER, PLUS HER OWN ALLERGIES WERE CURED TOO.

I second Yarra, I visit www.earthclinic.com often. Another remedy you might like to try, that's VERY cheap, is Hydrogen Peroxide. We lay on our side and fill ear and stay still for 15 minutes then let it drain back out into a tissue & do the other ear. You should do this at the very first sign of sinus trouble and I'm sure you've had it often enough to know exactly when it's going to hit you!! My 19 year old daughter has had chronic ear infections since she was little and loves this remedy (and she can afford it). Earthclinic is full of remedies from things you probably already have in your kitchen or medicine cabinet. This doesn't solve WHY you are getting them tho -- lots of good advice from others on that!
Mel, have you gotten your daughter off all components of dairy? This was a major problem with my daughters chronic ear infections. She tested negative at the allergist for dairy but is symptomatic of fluid everytime she gets a lot. There is dairy in almost everything, even lunch meats. You probably already know this, just a thought.
I've been having the same problem for the last six months. I've had chronic sinus infections that don't go away and are causing me to cough and have difficulty breathing. I'm so glad to see so many suggestions and how to get rid of this. I was so miserable that against my better judgement I went to the doctors and took medicine. It hasn't helped a bit and just made me feel awful.
