Last year we sold our home and moved temporarily to an apt. We had the convienience of a water softner. Shortly after the move maybe 2 months I started getting dandruff and it got worse but no skin problems. Also I stopped breastfeeding around that time as well. I never had a dandruff problem in my life. This is crazy. I've had it now for almost a year and now it seems I'm losing more hair as a result. We are now in the process of purchasing another home and purchasing another water softner. I was wondering how safe are the salts for your body when you use a water softner? And are there any natural remedies for this type of condition. Any help appreciated.

thanks

Hi kathy, your too funny lol:) I would hope that your not sampling some of that salt water in your shower. So how do you go about purchasing potassium? And where to purchase? I have not heard of this before. Those are some big bags a salt how do they get that much potassium in a bag like that? And how much potassium goes into the softener? When I think potassuim I'm thinking small quantities like bananas. So please enlighten me here... thanks a bunch.

That sounds great!! We just purchased our water softener so that saves a step to have it cleaned. Next step go check out HD. Thanks for the info kathy.
