Good morning, Rachel.
I have used them and they seem to work. I had one foot that kept swelling up for no reason that we could find, so I used one set of them, which was for 4 days, and the swelling has not come back in 3 weeks. I don't know if it was the pad or if the problem just went away.
Hope this helps.
Sina.

Sina,

Do you remeber where you got them or what brand they were? I am thinking of ordering the ones from the Gaiam catalog. And, that's exactly the problem i have been having. It made sense to me that it could possibly be a build up of toxins that have just settled in my feet due partialy to gravity.

Thanks,

Rachel

Hi Rachel, I have used some foot pads, a friend of mine gave them to me at Christmas she always gives several things in a gift bag and she knows that I have suffered with ongoing, sometimes debilitating pain from fibromyalgia. I have used them and they do pull from your body through your feet removing many toxins. I think you can't go wrong using them. On this site they recommend the Kinoba foot pads and I have seen info on them oher places too. Good luck. Elaine

Elaine. Do you know anything about fluoride poisioning? Fibromyalgia IS fluoride poisioning... or the result of it. Please look up Second look and the word fluoride on a google search to view a website on the subject. Also, FluorideAlert. Avoid as much fluoride as possible. The best way to do this is to buy distilled water and then run it through a pitcher type filter. You shoud also buy toothpaste without fluoride... NEVER take Cipro. Research your prescriptions (if you take any) and make sure they don't contain fluoride. Avoid un-organic grapes or wine as a fluoride based pesticide is used in the growing of them. Also, un-organic tea... green or black contains high levels of fluoride. If you have any other questions or want me to explain any of this send me an email at new_leaf2006@hotmail.com. A friend of mine has Fibromyalgia and another one of my friends is a doctor writing a book on the subject to help to inform other medical professionals on the subject. Thank you for your advice/words on the footpads :)

Oh my goodness Rachel! You are the first person to tell me that fluoride is the culprit. I am drinking distilled water now but not running through the pitcher, also haven't looked a my toothpaste, and am pretty sure I've had Cipro in the past. I'm seeing a very inelligent holistic healer and we are working on blockages in m system and opening my lymphatic system. I am getting some organic fruits but not sure my grapes have been. It's very hard o try to make sure everything is just right in getting rid of all these toxins in our life. I don't know anything re fluoride poisoning except what I've heard K.T. talk about. Would be interested in learning more though. Thanks Elaine

Yeah, believe me... I know what i'm talking about here.... Lots and lots of research, 4-5hr conversations with people who research different things like that ect... I just recently found out about the Cipro though and had just went through over a months worth of Cipro treatment due to a very serious double kidney infection. I'm kind of not in the mood to write a ton right now, lol... which is unusual for me. But, anyway, yeah... fluoride is BAD stuff. It took me awhile to REALLY accept it, but it's true. It's basically poision. The fact that you are drinking distilled water already is good. The reason for running it through the britta/pur is to remove any of the chemicals that may leach out from the plastic bottle. On the second look website there is a list of symptoms of fluoride poisioning... one is excessive thirst. Please check out the website as I can't type all the info right here and if you have any questions email me. There is no "cure" for it but the best thing to do is to avoid it as much as possible so that your body will heal it's self over time. I'm not saying you can't get better, I'm saying that there isn't a specific herb ect that will do it for ya. It's all about avoiding it as much as possible and Taking key vitamins and minerals one of which is Vitamin C. On the website it will tell you where some of the maijor sources for it are... prescriptions are one, for sure avoid un organic grapes and wine and tea, but there are many other sources. Eliminating it from your toothpaste is an easy thing to do, so if i were you i'd go ahead and do that.
