Stop dieting, especially if its low-fat, high carb. High insulin levels due to high-carbs causes fat to be stored in the belly. Try eating a balanced diet, if you're not already. Balanced meaning proteins, fats, and real carbs (veggies, fruit, whole grains). Limit whole grains and fruit if sugar is a problem for you.

No sugar, no salt, and eat 6-7 really small meals a day..........one every 3 hours. Make sure each of these meals contains a small amount of protein. This is how I started eating on Tuesday and I have already lost 3 pounds and my belly went down significantly. Eat fresh fruit, vegetables, and lean meat only........nothing out of a package, box, or can. This stuff is loaded with sugar and salt. I think this must be what was keeping my belly so bloated all the time. AND since you eat so often, all the cravings go away because your insulin levels will stay level.
This way of eating tricks your system into burning everything you eat because it knows it will be fed again in 3 hours. Guess where it goes to get energy to burn when it uses up that really small meal you ate? Right to the fat cells!
People that try to starve themselves to lose fat are actually making matters worse. Their body goes into starvation mode and will store everything eaten as fat because it is in dosen't know when the next time it will be given food to survive. It's a natural reaction for your body to store everything as fat if it isn't given nutrition often enough. Belly fat is one of the easiest places for the body to store this.

The body needs a certain amount of dietary salt to function correctly. Table salt is poison, switch instead to natural salt like sea or himalyan. Celery is high in dietary sodium and is one of the best plants to eat.

Me too, that is why I bought the CLA, it really isn't noticable but it bugs the heck out of me.

My CLA is from safflower oil. But, domestic meat from years past used to have high amounts of CLA. The pudge (if thats a word) bothers me.

CLA, I just bought some yesterday. I was assured if exercising it would reduce belly fat, to the point that you could actually feel it. The clerk also told me to take double of what ever they said to take. So I bought one that said take one a day, I will take two per day.

Guess where a great place is to find CLA? Meat and dairy!

Conjugated linoleic acid. Linolenic acid is also essential. It is an essential fatty acid that is a building block for important hormones called eiconosoids. When imbalanced, you will experience more allergies, joint pains, reflux, asthma, and other conditions. The solution would be more good dietary fats. Meat and dairy are good sources.
