In my work and ministry of natural medicine I encounter almost every dis-ease and abnormality that one could think of. Yep... herpes, high blood pressure, congestive heart failure, migraines, PMS symptoms, fibroids, diabetes, advanced cancer.....etc.

The problem...most people come to herbalist, homeopaths, naturopaths etc., after allopathic physicians can do no more for them...this makes it a lot more difficult for those like myself because we have to deal with all of the extra drug toxins that have been added to the body.

So to my point...a couple of weeks ago a nurse friend of mine asked me could I help her sister,( who is somewhat skeptical of natural remedies) Her little boy (about 5 years of age) was having fevers. The fevers started maybe about 18 months ago...they started once a month, and he was taken to the hospital over a period of weeks, and eventually put on drugs after a multitude of test could find nothing wrong.

However, before I knew all of this I was only asked about a natural remedy to bring a fever down in a child. Of course a fever can be controlled used as a friend, if used correctly, but I simply told them that catnip enemas work very well to brake fevers and keep them down for hours.

Her sister wanted to talk to me personally. I wanted her to come in for a full consultation and bring the child,...to make a long story short she gave me a call, and to be honest she was becoming frantic because the doctors were unable to find anything...the child is on steroids to control the fever, the fevers are becoming more frequent...WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND? ...

I will tell you later what message I sent to her to have the child checked for...this is something that most would not think to check for that could be causing fevers. Apparently not even the doctors because they have not checked the child for it yet.

AGAIN WHAT WOULD YOU RECOMMEND?

This is what I would check for:
1. Parasites
2. Teeth especially if had any dental work
3. Whether mother was wearing a hormonal patch or if one of the parents (or close adult) using hormonal treatment placed on the skin. Check childs hormone levels.
4. Ringworm or fungus infection
5. Food, clothes (detergent), vaccine allergies
6. Also, does child have earings, hair treatment, pets.

Strangly when my son was five he would get fevers at night. I think it went on for about 3 months or so and it wasn't ever night. The fever was always gone by morning. I had become an advocate of fevers so I didn't worry about them too much.

The child might not be angry just poisoned by the toxins (food, vaccines, man made viruses) that have been intentionally put into our system.

Since it also looks like the steriods are not working then I would definately take the child off, I could never give a child steriods, day after day after day.

It's the once a month thing that I can't figure out.......bills come once a month, meter readers come once a month, could it possibly be related to a menstrual cycle? Is something happening to the water supply once a month? Is there a lawn treatment being applied once a month? Is the Terminix guy coming once a month? I'll have to give this some more thought......

I am very curious to know what message you sent to her to have the child checked for. Everyone has had some great info and ideas but what did you recommend? I happen to know a little girl that has very similar problems and she has been through a lot maybe you have the answer for her.

Hello,

I am Dr. Robert Fifield.

Like you said, you need to see the child (HOW OLD) to check certain areas of his body to see if there are problems there. Fever is a sign that there is most likely an intestinal problem, so the enema can be a great help, but not necessarily the suggested herb for if it is not compatible it can cause its own problems. Next but perhaps first is WHAT IS HER DIET? What food is she eating. Foods that no longer feed a person will start to cause problems. So, changing the diet is essential. Is she old enough for a period?

I would like to hear what you finally did, that is if he is feeling better now and is up and going strong.

Fever is not usually a bad thing, even a 105 temp, but then there are may things that can contribute to such a problem that I would need to know about before a good solution can be given!

Naturedoc:

This sounds like what the Chinese call a shao yin stage of health, a remittent fever.

Through much trial and error, I had years ago finally figured out what the root cause was; it's a low vital energy of the liver. The liver doesn't have the vital energies to 'spike' a fever and thereby doing its job of dissolving (by infusion) the waste/toxins that are causing the fever. In this stage of fever, all the body can do is vacillate (I think that's the word). The child's fever is in a very non-productive cycle. It can't even be termed an infection, so anti-biotics aren't even indicated here from an allopathic stand-point.

Anyhow, I've been an herbalist for 38 years which included Naval Medical Corps (1970-1974) and many years of clinical/laboratory experience, blah, blah, blah.

This is purely academic. However, I make my own tonics from scratch so that they're customized, liquid, herbal extracts/tonics. I can't possibly recommend anything as I feel that would be unprofessional and wreckless. But I would expect significant improvement for his condition with 2-3 days.

However, I will say that the trendy and often times harsh liver/gallbladder/colon flushes and cleanses out there will not work. I say this from experience. The vital energies of the liver will NOT be strengthened from the aforementioned flushes since flushes only stimulate, but they don't nutritionally strengthen the vital energies. Remember that you can stimulate something that is low in vital energies. Otherwise, it's like trying to whip a dead horse. But herbal foods can/will nutritionally strengthen the liver's functions.

Was just hoping to give you a little more insight and direction. If more needs to be discussed, we'll have to take it to private e-mail.

I wish you well.

Yes, Charlie, what you describe about the liver function is in the ball part, the problem really is that there are not enough chemicals that are going to interact with the toxins to change them into food or carrying them out of the system. Using one of the many liver cleansed, as you say, is a possible desaster, true. Because the herbs may be toxic to that person. This then is a diet problem and the food (herbs) that is being eaten is not supplying these needs, so they are not compatible with the boy's body, thus causing further stress on the system and the liver as toxins.

Using a remedy that is not compatible will complicate the condition, as you have implied. They have to be able to tell what foods he needs that will feed him and they do not know how to do this. Neither do the professionals, which I believe you fit into this picture to some degree. I could be wrong!

You have almost seen what it is that I am talking about. How is it that you apply your herbs? Do you test them to be compatible with who it is you give them. If you do not do this then you are missing part of the process that prevents bad side effects, etc. Do you know what it is to apply a tool in an Allopathic manner so that when you apply your tools you can say that you do not apply them in that way? If you do not apply them in that way then in what way do you apply them?

I am hoping to help clear up a very important point you need to be clear on so that if someone accuses you of being an Allopathic Professional, you will know what to say and how to prove where you are. Are you not an Allopath because you use natural herbs and formulate them in a specific scientific manner different from the Allopath?

Sorry, this is not what makes a person different from an Allopath. There are only two ways a substance can be applied and every substance can be applied is both ways, it just depends upon the method of application or how it is used (applied), not how it is made.

You gave a good disortation about the kidney problem and I appreciate your refering to the Science of Wellness Society website, but to really get what it is all about you should take the course. The full answers are not going to be given in on the site, except to help you understand why you need to get the science so you will know what the natural laws are that you claim to use.

By the way what are those laws you claim to use? So far all you have talked about are principles driven by the laws.

The dollars go to the Society to do its work, helping people get the care they need!

Hope to hear more from you. I would like to hear you tell me what profession you are functioning in! If it is not Allopathy then what is it? Its not herbology? This is only a modality used by a professional in either an Allopathic manner or some other way! What is it?

Doc:

You need to know more about my understanding and practices. Why do you worry about me being accused of being an allopath? In almost 40 years that issue has never come up. I've known what an allopath is for about 36 years, ever since the days of being in the Naval Medical Corps during the Vietnam thing. Those were the years that I started my quest.

My herbology is so specific and effective that the need to change diet other than with a little common sense is actually very elementary in the sciences compared to my method of herbology. There's so much you don't know about my herbalism.

I used to use bio-kinetic energy measuring. It was kind of like a tutor. But once I accomplished my goals in the science of herbology and my understandings of the body's functions, I no longer needed the tutor. Occasionally, I will test someone with the bio-kinetic measuring just to test that I'm still on the right path. But most of the time, I rely on my experience and proven methods.

I want to point something out to you. When you talk to another professional (moi), don't be so condescending, please. What I'm hearing you say is . . . "Some day you'll get where I am. Keep searching, little buddy!" Sheessshhhhh! I'm not annoyed. I just want you to know how you're coming across.

I have some other comments about what I read on your website. I'll talk to you in private.

Later alligator.
