What pharmacists really know about natural cures (funny but true).
I've been working in a pharmacy this summer for a part time job to help pay for University. I myself do not take drugs, nor do I believe in them and I encourage people to try natural methods first. I got the job because my family is friends with the pharmacists' family and he offered me a job.
Anyways, one of the things I have to do is stock the shelves. A little while ago we recieved some Co-Q10 and not knowing what is was decided to ask the pharmacist what it was good for. Not surprisingly he had NO CLUE what it did.
A few days after that a customer came into the store and got his prescription then started talking about it with the pharmacist. He had been on this medication for years and asked why he had to keep taking them and why he wasn't cured from his disease. The pharmacist actually said this: "Well its because prescription drugs are designed to mask the symptoms so that you stay sick and have to keep buying them. That way I can keep food on the table for my kids." Yes, he did say it sarcastically, but its still funny cause thats all they are designed to do.
He also gets a monthly packet of papers that I have to put in a binder on natural cures. Needless to say the binder just collects dust and the information is never read. So many times people come in asking if there is a natural cure for this and that and he tells them every time that there is nothing to his knowledge. He also says that he doesn't trust natural solutions and that drugs are the safest, most effective way to cure disease (no surprise).
Sorry for the rant, just wanted to let you know how uneducated these drug dealers really are.

Incredible! Thanks for sharing this. It's interesting to hear it from someone who sees it first hand. I wonder how much trouble you would get into if you were to read the articles in the binder and share some of it with customers. SO funny how his sarcasm was correct, does he have any clue, lol???
