I have heard alot of the health benifits of vitamin E. On the other hand I have also read where too much vitamin E can have very adverse effects such as stroke or death. I am torn on this because I really want to reap the health benifts of this vitamin but I don't want to misuse it and harm myself or my family. Does anyone know anything about this?
Like Michelle said do not use synthetic. I would start with a small dose and adjust it over time. Your body will tell you if it is too much for you. I always start out with the lowest dose and work up to the recommended dose. I will take the same dose for one week and move up until I feel it is what my body needs.
I do see how vitamin E could contribute whatsoever to stroke. One of the things that natural vitamin E is famous for is acting as a natural blood thinner. Strokes are the result of a blood clot interrupting blood flow to the brain. Sort of like the dam effect. As far as I know KT only recommends 2 brands of vitamin E and that is 4Spectrum E (800-581-8906) and Unique E at www.acgraceco.com or www.qnlabs.com
