About Me:
A Tony Robbins seminar peaked my interest to learn about health and nutrition. In looking for a healthier lifestyle, I decided to follow a vegetarian lifestyle (eight years and counting). Although I occasionally eat fish. I am looking to learn more about eating raw foods and the benefits that brings to my health.
Favorite Books
I have read a variety of interesting books: Conversations with God Vol 1-4, The Celestine Prophecy, The Tenth Insite, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, The 8th Habit, The Maker's Diet, The Art of War, Entering the Zone, Eat Right 4 Your Type...

I enjoy this online community for the interesting topics that have sparked my interest and learning. I continue to add more books to my library, like: The Weight Loss Cure, Natural Cures They Don't Want You To Know About, The pH Miracle, Green For Life, Sanctuary: The Path to Consciousness ...(and the list will continue).

Renee, my religion is christianity, but it's a mature form of christianity that I practice ... it's called spiritual warfare. There are things that open us up to the dark side and accupunture is one of them. I didn't say anything about the energy thing in relationship to it.

The book you mention sounds like a new age book. I haven't read it and doubt that I'd get very far into it.

Renee,

Im not sure! I would double check with whatever company you have. We have well water so fluride is not much of an issue to us but our system is made to filter out EVERYTHING! Hope this helps!

Renee, study on the filtration system before buying to make sure it gets it all out!

I would still distill my water for consumption.

Renee, don't even shop in a healthfood store without reading labels!

"Health" products are not created equally!

Thanks, Renee. It's good to be back.

I believe baking soda is fine for deodorant from a little that I have read and/or heard of. I haven't tried it yet but am curious about effectiveness. I also have read that it is ok to put a little bit in water daily for ph balancing and killing fungus. I wouldn't do more than 1/8-1/4 tsp. per day myself, but there are various opinions on the quantity. Also, more might be ok in urgent medical situations (i.e. cancer).
