Well, my life has really changed since reading KTs first book. I feel more in control of my health and my body. I really do owe a lot to the guy. I love helping others and look forward when I can advice others to help them on their route to health.
I've lost 25 pounds of Phase 2, 35 since Phase 1, 50 since my 'highest ever'. I've learned about Weston Price Foundation and joined C.A.R.E. and just ordered my first real milk!!

DISASTER--AND BACK

I went to a birthday party Sat night and ate a hamburger and some carrots that was all additional to my plan. Gained one lb Then Sunday went to another birthday party and had lots of steak, rice, salad, and cake!! I even had a soda. Ugg Gained two lbs So, it sucks cuz wasted time. Now, I've lost those lbs and one extra one, but that is definitely not the way to go. I don't know why I've had such a hard time getting into it this time. I really attribute it, I guess to not coming right off Pha… Continue

Kinda "down"; no loss

I didn't lose anything after VLCD 7 of R2P2 but I've just had this general feeling of 'down' the whole time, very unlike the first round. I don't get it but I'm trying not to dwell on it to much. On the up side, I've been going around the house closets finding old clothes that didn't use to fit and have worn two new outfits this week. I wish I had done this sooner as next week, these won't fit anymore! Such a great part of this program!

AFTER FIRST WEEK OF ROUND TWO PHASE TWO

Last Monday I started loading so this is my one week marker. I skipped Saturday because I'm doing the 6 weeks and then last night I forgot to do my shot!!! Luckily, my wonderful husband returned from work this morning to give me my hcg and B shot. Better late than never. So tonight I'll continue as normal. I only lost .4 yesterday because I had some extra protein last night at a barbecue. It's amazing how one can taste 'fat' after not eating fat for a few days! So down to 157.2, but worried… Continue

Update on Round Two of Phase Two

I'm down to 157.6 which is finally lower than the lowest I got during Phase 3, where I was still losing weight. I kinda panicked and ate like a pig. But where I really lost it was when I got a bag of one of my favorite candies from El Salvador. Then, that was the official start of Phase 4 and with my parents visiting, I started eating out a lot. So I still stayed around LIW this way but I didn't feel all healthy anymore. So now, I'm feeling a bit tired but actually better than eating all that j… Continue

I'M BACK FOR ROUND TWO!!!

Phase Four was crazy. I really ate like a maniac and not very healthy. I cannot get myself too excited about Round Two for some reason. I think it would've helped not to eat so much crappola on Phase 4. Now, I'll have to 'withdraw'. Oh, why didn't I listed to KT? On the good side. I didn't gain ANY weight and started to load below LIW. I did 4 weeks of Phase 3 and 4-5 of phase 4, but really, nothing, just taking a break. Today is VLCD 1 and I'm starting at 165lbs. Last time gained two lbs on l… Continue

Hey Proto-Buddy! I seem to have stalled out already. Lynette just said I should do an apple day - Oh joy!
Let me know how it's going for you!

Hey, how is P2 going? I see you had a momentary loss of reason! Birthday parties are hard to suffer through, aren't they? Go check out the blog on my page and see the phenomenal results I had during week one. I think we are pretty close to the same weight. Want to buddy up? I was hoping to do the full six weeks, too and hopefully drop down to the 130's. I was wondering about your shot "skip day", should I be doing that? I was just going to do every day, except the TOM days. I have noticed that I am really emotional this time around. I wonder if it is the hcg? Hang in there, we all have our bad days! I have a couple of recipes that are tasty enough to fool myself into thinking it is real food and abundant, as well. Tonight I mix chicken, canned tomatoes, garlic, basil and water to make a pretty darn tasty soup.

Hey girlfriend! Long time no chat. I am gearing up to do phase 2 again (actually, I have been for about a month and just can't seem to get revved up about it). I have kept the weight off with no trouble at all. I stopped P2 at 167 and my weight fluctuates daily between 164-168. I still need to drop at least 30 pounds (would love to drop 40, but I'm not so sure if, after 3 kids, that will ever be possible). It's such a conundrum isn't it? I know how incredible the protocol is and now know that it works without a doubt, but gearing up to go back to the P2 diet is soooo hard! I look forward to seeing your progress and would love to see some before and after pics!

I forgot to tell you that I have a maltipoo. She is a maltese/poodle mix and my spoiled baby.

Hi E,
Well, how did you end up? I am still on the road, stopped weighing myself about 1 week out. I am afraid I will have to do a little corrective dieting when I get home. I have done my best to follow p3, but when eating out for every meal with a bunch of truck drivers, even the best choices on the menu aren't good enough. Since we were in the south, BBQ was often the restaurant of choice, I went with the meats with the least amount of sauce, but still know they had way to much sugar. And the pre-made, overly processed choices at many truck stops were hard to keep the starch out of my diet. By far the worst was the chinese buffet night. I did a steak day the next day just because I knew everything I ate had sugar, flour and msg in it!! Oh, well, I am starting my training for the 50 miles walk for MS and the 1/2 marathon when I get home, this will also put my eating habits back to healthy and organic so what I messed up over the road hopefully I can correct. My plan is get back to LIW and then to follow P3 when I get home until my weight has been stable for 2 weeks then move on to P4. Hope that works for the long term of maintaining my weight. I still have a little flab to loose on the backs of my thighs and just above my butt, so have been considering another 23 day round after my 1/2 marathon in Oct if I still feel the same. I may order some hgc just to have should that be the case.

Well, drop me a line and update me on your final P2 results and how P3 is going for you so far.

Thanks for checking in. Congratulations on starting P3! I've lost 16 lbs in 30 days. I plan on doing the shots until my 10,000 iu is gone. I mixed for 40 doses of 250, but started lowering the dose to 200 here and there, ao I'll have extra and can go longer. Also I skip some days to try to prevent immunity. I've heard of people staying on as long as 75 days! I hope to lose at least another 5. Look forward to hearing about how it goes for you in P3.

I am the one with the glasses on. That is my before picture and I need to update and post a new picture. You are so welcome. It is always great to look at everybody's outcome from doing the protocol. I think it is the greatest thing for people like us who have struggled for so long to loose weight.

hi E
sorry I didn't get back to you yesterday. I am on the road with my husband in the semi. I did not get TOM when I was supposed to so stopped injections as originally planned. Second day without injection TOM arrived so stayed skipped injections for 2 more days (four days total) then 3 more injections (which got me 1/2 pound under my goal!!!!) and 72 hours of vlcd. Started p3 yesterday. I am very happy all my clothes from when I was running 5 miles a day for! We will be gone for about two weeks so will have to wait until I get home to get really serious about getting back in shape. I am training for a 50 mile MS walk in Sept. And then a 1/2 marathon in Oct.

Congrats on your loss. That is awesome. Let me know what you decide on the shots. For me I am glad I did the extra time. Dr S. Says you need to have at least 3 days of shots following TOM and since I was at goal I didn't want to take any chances of not resetting my hypothalamus and not being able to maintain! Well I am doing this from my I phone and we are moving again so it makes it really tough to type on this small keyboard. Send me a note and give me all your numbers.
Take care
Amy
