About Me:: I am of the older genteration, married, 2 sons, 6 grandchildren. I have a FT job being a home childcare provider. This keeps me young....it's a challenge to keep ahead of a two year old. I love it. In my PT working on my fortune I am a networker just braaking into the online arena. Appreciate any helpful hints!

Favorite Music:: I love all types of Music although some I find hard to understand the lyrics.....

Favorite Books: The Harry Potter Series is my favorite fun reading. I also read a lot of NWM books to see what's happening in the field. I guess you could say I'm still a student of NWM.

There is no sr center here, however, we live in an area were there is every thing available to her and the most generous, kind and attentive neighbors. They help me out by taking her to doctors appointments and things of that nature and even take her to lunch. The problem is she is blind, which has been progressively getting worse as she ages. She has Retenitus Pigmatosa (RP) that is a eye disorder where the loss of site is ongoing until it is completely gone. she has known that she has it since childhood and it is heretary. So the blindness is new, she lost her husband 5 years ago. He was her eyes and everthing. I came to live with her to try and help. I find I cannot be my father and be her eyes and everthing, but I do all of the things necessary to keep her house. My Fibromyalgia has gotten worse due to the stresses of being caregiver and have trouble getting around. I can't seem to take the time I need for me. Right now the only thing that mom does to keep her mind active is listen to books on tape. I guess I will stop complaining for the time being before they shut me off. (SMILE) I hope we can talk again soon.
