I'm a nurse and a free lance paralegal. I have a college degree in Psychology and Communication. I like to take nursing assignments in various facilities...hospitals, nursing homes and home health care settings...this keeps me in touch with people in the community and often generates paralegal clients many of which I just donate my time and work to since so many are struggling single parents...

***My Interests: Guitar, tennis, bike riding, photography, out door activities, dining out, shopping, spending time with friends, and helping others... Traveling and sightseeing, health clubs/fitness, volleyball, walking/hiking, coffee and conversation, business/social networking, music, movies, intellectual conversations, etc...

***Music: Easy listening, Acoustic guitar, Contemporary Country, Rock, Classic Rock, Disco, Soothing Jazz.

***Movies: "Gladiator," "Legends of the Fall", "King David" (Starring Richard Gere), "Last of the Mohicans", "Road House", others...

***Television: The History Channel, Discovery Channel, Home Makeover Channel, Travel

***Books: Spirituality, the book of Revelation, pscyhology, relationship dynamics, sociology, law. Favorites: "The Road Less Travelled"-Scott Peck, M.D., the scriptures, books on relationships and history books.

***Heroes: There is really only one "hero" worth even being called that. His name is... Jesus.

I enjoy the first cup of coffee in the morning .. a great movie ..holding hands and kissing... I like music: Easy listening, Classic rock, Jazz, Disco & country... :-)

I'm interested in an adventurous people who like to explore life's many diverse pathways. About "soul mates": I believe that two people arrive at that point of being "soul mates" only after agreeing to and faithfully and patiently fulfilling their part in an ongoing adventure with the other and finally with Heaven's aprroval! ;)

I'm originally from the Chicagoland area.
I'm optimistic, spontaneous, playful and interested in a long term relationship which I believe starts with a quality friendship first. I appreciate the common, often over looked grandeur in every day life such as the beauty of a landscape or a leisurely walk on the beach or the park...

I have many interests among which are I like to work out, play tennis, go swimming, cook out and I like a good wine, candlelight dinners, thunderstorms and being out on the road at night when the stars and moon are out enjoying the breeze with the top down. One of my interests is playing the guitar and singing. I have composed a love ballad or two which I plan on copyrighting.
I also enjoy doing any of the following:

Any outdoor Activities (beach, cook outs, swimming, riding bikes, tennis, volleyball),
Movies/Theater, Music, Concerts, Art Museums, books, Coffee Shops, Dining, playing pool, throwing darts, bowling, and most importantly...Engaging in meaningful conversation about current events, love, relationships, psychology, family, work and career. Playful conversation and light banter back and forth is fun to when it happens... :)

If you have children, I want you to know that having come from a family of six, that I love children and consider them and family life a real blessing.

Here are some of my thoughts about "chemistry" which might make it easier for anyone who is also desirous of being in a meaningful and soul satisfying relationship. :)

1. Emotional chemistry which generates interest.
2. Mental stimulation which sustains interest.
3. Physical chemistry igniting the passion of a relationship.
4. Spiritual chemistry which makes it all worthwhile.
